Their'reusable' cup is a soft plastic cup INSIDE another soft plastic cup to give you a smaller volume than what it looks like. Charged me 6$ for landfill core during the Dame Festive event on top of the 6$ lemonade.
Came here for the 1st time a few weeks ago for a breakfast sandwich. The avocado & produce inside was of quality, vibrant & fresh. The establishment was so nice, all the staff was nice & greated us. We weren't planing to stay & eat , but decided to sit on the terrace because I had my dog with me . I did not even know you could bring your pet. The server was so kind to notice us sitting outside & brought us water. & also brought Benji water. It's such a pleasant atmosphere.
We have 3 different cookies. I would say they can use some work as all the flavour had the same base & tasted the same.
Le jeudi 21 mai, ma mère, qui souffre de troubles cognitifs, s'est retrouvée au Comptoir St-Jo, sur le boulevard Saint-Joseph à Lachine. Elle était quelque peu désorientée, car elle participait à une nouvelle activité. Après avoir reçu un appel d'un organisme local, j'ai rapidement contacté le Comptoir St-Jo.
Non seulement le Comptoir St-Jo offre une nourriture délicieuse & une sélection impressionnante de produits de qualité, mais son personnel a fait preuve d'une gentillesse & d'une compassion extraordinaires envers ma mère. Bien que je n'aie malheureusement pas retenu le nom de la personne à qui j'ai parlé, il a été absolument incroyable : il s'est assurée que ma mère avait les aliments dont elle avait besoin & l'a même accompagnée a une rue plus loin jusqu'au point de rendez-vous pour qu'elle puisse retrouver son groupe.
Son empathie, sa patience & sa compréhension ont largement dépassé ce à quoi on pouvait s'attendre.
J'ai par la suite parlé de cette expérience à deux collègues de travail - l'un de Montréal-Ouest & l'autre de Ville-Émard - & tous deux ont immédiatement fait l'éloge du Comptoir St-Jo, louant non seulement l'excellente sélection de produits alimentaires, mais aussi le service exceptionnel & le personnel accueillant. Quelle combinaison incroyable !
Je suis extrêmement reconnaissante envers le Comptoir St-Jo & je tiens à remercier chaleureusement toutes les personnes impliquées. Votre excellente nourriture, votre service attentionné & votre compassion sincère font vraiment une différence au sein de la communauté.

Not only does Comptoir St-Jo offer wonderful food & an impressive selection of quality items, but their staff showed extraordinary kindness & compassion toward my mother. Although I regretfully did not get the name of the person I spoke with, they were absolutely incredible - making sure my mother had the food items she needed & even accompanying her one block over to the meeting point so she could reconnect with her group.
Their empathy, patience, & understanding went far beyond what anyone could expect.
I later mentioned this experience to two work colleagues - one from Montreal West & the other from Ville-Émard - & both immediately spoke highly of Comptoir St-Jo, praising not only the excellent food selection, but also the outstanding service & welcoming staff. What an incredible combination!

Amazing spot for a yummy iced latte & ra good book. The staff is super friendly. Quick service. & only cafe in the area that has soy milk (that I have noticed). Beautiful outdoor covered area for seating.

Les meilleurs bagels & plusieurs beaux & bons produits a découvrir; la lasagne a la viande fumée entre autre, est un coût de coeur pour moi ! Il est donc possible d'y prendre son petit déjeuner accompagné du meilleur des cafés & repartir avec son souper dans un petit sac !! & pourquoi pas une petite bouteille de vin!! Puisque & oui ils en ont aussi une grande variété!! Bref un trésor de petit café à découvrir!!
Super spot, on prends le temps de dire bonjour, c'est chaleureux, ça roule, mais dans l'humanité. Le propriétaire est présent, aide son staff & connais ses clients. Belle variété & belle découverte !!
Superbe petit café & magasin de vins, bières, épices & autres délices. Mon amie & moi avons choisi des bagels bien garnis pour notre brunch & ils étaient immenses avec tout ce qui était dedans, frais & délicieux. Le service est impeccable, amical, efficace. Les produits en boutique sont alléchants. Bel emplacement près du canal. Je recommande.
Petite trouvaille aujourd'hui ! Ce petit café est chaleureux & pleins de saveurs. Vous allez y découvrir des produits d'ici fabuleux. Une place de choix pour du vin d'ici & pour un dîner d'une fraîcheur incroyable !!!

Salat is crunchy, sous served in a separate bowl that is amazing if you watch your calories !
I've visited 3 times during the last 4 months of 2025. The iced coffee is great. The food is usually good but we've noticed it can change quite a bit, for instance, the last time we ordered 2 chocolate chip cookies (which we have tried in the past), one of them had no chocolate inside, just the ganache on top.
Service is a hit or miss. Some of the staff are not friendly at all, sometimes the tables were not clean, we had to ask a couple of times to clean them.
Tables outside in the sunroom cannot be moved & they are very close together. It's not functional for groups of more than 2 people.
