Visitors frequently highlight the friendly and attentive service, with many noting the staff's genuine kindness, compassion, and welcoming nature toward customers and their pets. The café features a pleasant, covered outdoor terrace perfect for enjoying the local vibe near the Lachine Canal, alongside a well-curated shop offering local wines, artisanal products, and unique branded items.

My first time visiting Comptoir St. Jo, & I absolutely loved it. I had a matcha, & it was excellent. The café has a warm & cozy atmosphere, & it's easy to see why so many people stop by after walking or biking along the Lachine Canal. It was such a relaxing experience, & I can confidently say this is one of my favorite coffee shops in Montreal. 10/10, I'll definitely be back.

Very cozy cafe just by the canal, I found the taste of their coffee is also very good, by far the very best that worth the money you pay. The staff are very nice & always smiling.

Their'reusable' cup is a soft plastic cup INSIDE another soft plastic cup to give you a smaller volume than what it looks like. Charged me 6$ for landfill core during the Dame Festive event on top of the 6$ lemonade.
