In 1861, Thomas Wilson first established its hardware store at 400 Place Jacques Cartier and for over 155 years, this building stood at the very heart of the Old Montreal. In 1970, the iconic French restaurant Chez Queux moved in and would remain there for well over 40 years.
Today it is our turn to leave our mark on this legendary Montreal building. We welcome all who come by, providing food the way we like it, simple, fresh and delicious. After a long day of sightseeing or while on a break from your bicycle ride in the Old Port, drop by Comptoir 400, we are always happy too see (and feed) you!

Everything was great the pizza, the crepe, both savory & the sweet kind. Our server was amazing 👏 I am not truly sure if they are pet friendly, but they were sweet enough to give my friends dog a bowl of water & let him go inside 😀 I wish they had heavier carbs like pasta, other than that it was amazing.View more
