As guests at the hotel, was comped the breakfast. Nice art deco style layout. We had the vegetarian Benedict & avocado toast. Both were delicious. The staff were friendly & attentive. Good stuff.

Dîner pendant la semaine Montréal à table. La nourriture était excellente avec un service irréprochable & une atmosphère magnifique dans ce sublime hôtel.
When we walked in I thought that the atmosphere was very nice. There was only one server for about 8 tables so ordering food & drinks took a while. The food wasn't amazing but it wasn't bad for a hotel restaurant. Our favourite was the foie-gras which was pretty delicious! Although the service wasn't great the servers were still very nice & welcoming. Over all it was pretty nice experience.
Came to the hotel really hoping to enjoy the restaurants during our stay -- tried both Muse & Commodore, both were sadly very disappointing.
At Muse my friend never received her meal even while I received mine, after half an hour we asked whether it would be coming out soon only to realize our server had never entered her order. We werent offered an apology, just a'oh yeah yours never arrived eh. Oops'
Commodore we thought we might have a better experience, sadly my primavera pasta was possibly the worst Ive ever had. Sauce tasted like pure ketchup, sickly sweet. I couldnt finish it. & the cost? $32.
Im never one to leave reviews like this as I work in a restaurant myself, but for what we paid we felt very let down.
Had a very good breakfast here during our hotel stay, however the dinner was disappointing overall. Onion soup but the burger:subpar. Meat was bland, bun quickly soggy, & bacon also soggy/undercooked
My friend & I were staying in the hotel so dined twice, once at dinner & once for breakfast. On both occasions we had excellent food & service. Well timed, so pleasant. Faultless.
I am very picky about Caesar salads. My friend got a Caesar salad & it looked top notch & she indicated that it was. It was also generously portioned.
For breakfast we both had avocado toast & lattes. The avocado toast was large, beautifully presented & delicious. The lattes were also very good.
I would happily eat here again!

Honesty, it would be a perfect night without the kj staffs 🙄 My friend celebrated her birthday here, a rude staff guy approached us for being'noisy' but for a fact that it wasn't us & it's the other table sitting beside us. They didn't even tell them to quiet instead they're blaming it to us, even taking pictures in the hotel/restaurant isn't allowed. The staffs are very annoying & unfriendly, considering the price we've got they should've treated their guests kindly & with respect.
Tbh the food was just ok its not surprisingly great compared to other restaurants we've tried & service was meh good thing the interior was beautiful, that's it nothing special. I hope they improve their customer service coz we leave without good memories in there.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel! The hotel staff is very friendly. Once we arrived, we were greeted & had assistance with someone taking our luggage to the room while we were completing the check-in process at the front desk. The lobby is so chic & pretty! The hotel room is beautifully decorated, very spacious, & extremely clean! The amenities are nice as well. The swimming pool is heated & has an amazing view of the city. It was a perfect place to relax after a freezing day outside. During our stay, Montreal experienced a record-breaking snowstorm. Because of the weather, we were thankful to be able to eat most of our meals at Commodore restaurant. The service was great, & the food was delicious. We highly recommend this hotel, & we will come back to stay at this hotel in the future. 10/10!!

Commodore, located in the chic Honeyrose Hotel, is a visually stunning restaurant with a warm & inviting atmosphere that sets the tone for a refined evening. The standout features of our visit were the elegant setting & the excellent service, which made us feel well taken care of from start to finish. For appetizers, we ordered the salmon tartare, & we recommend the 6 oz portion ($29) if you're sharing-it's fresh & well-executed. The oysters (12 units) were definitely a highlight: incredibly fresh, perfectly chilled, & absolutely delightful. Unfortunately, the same can't be said for all the dishes. The lobster bisque cappuccino was decent but slightly too oily for our liking, which took away from the experience. Lastly, the penne primavera à l'italienne was disappointing-lacking depth & flavor, it felt too simple & unmemorable for such a sophisticated venue. While the atmosphere & service are top-notch, the food itself was hit-or-miss. Commodore is worth visiting for the oysters, ambiance, & attentive staff, but the overall culinary experience leaves room for improvement.
Beautiful restaurant located in Hotel Honeyrose in downtown Montreal. Food is exquisite. Service is very friendly. Beautiful Ambiance & very modern. Totally recommand.
Aesthetics of the place are amazing. But service & food are very average. Long long wait times to get our menus, get water, get food, surprisingly though the check came in no time. Food was okay, not delicious. But the hotel's entrance & the restaurant's look are super pretty.

Staying at the HONEYROSE hotel for vacation with my husband. We have eaten here twice for both lunch & dinner. Food was good & atmosphere relaxing, but service was extremely lacking. On both occasions we had to flag down waitstaff for anything other than our initial order. It seemed they had better things to do such as get tables ready with no one seated at them instead of ones with customers already seated. Needless to say we will not be spending anymore money at this establishment. I've had better service at fast food establishments. Save your money & go find a place with better service reviews because the food & atmosphere do not make up for lack of service here.
We were staying at the Honeyrose Hotel & ate twice at the Commodore. The first time was for drinks & small plates before we headed out for a larger meal at another restaurant. Service was great & the food was good. Duck Terrine, beet salad & fries. The second time was for breakfast. Service was good & the Benedict & Continental were quite nice. The roasted breakfast potatoes were salty, but I didn't mind. The atmosphere was classy & designed to accommodate fun people watching while dining, which I also didn't mind. Nice place to eat overall.
Had a great dining experience here & returned a few times during my short visit in Montreal. The food is incredible, & presentation is stunning. A must try is the beet salad. It was so fresh & loved the pairing with avocado & feta. The brunch was fantastic too - I had the eggs Benedict, & the hollandaise was a delectable, with the perfect balance of lemon flavour. If you're staying at the Honey Rose hotel or are in the area, I'd highly recommend.
I was on a work trip staying at the beautiful Honeyrose Hotel. We ended up having to work into the night several days in a row & we were sequestered to our rooms. Hotel restaurants & room service can leave a lot to be desired. Our meals were outstanding! I enjoyed both the steak & the Grilled Chicken of Quebec. Everything was cooked to perfection. The flavor profiles were complex but complimented every aspect of the dish. Additionally I am gluten free & my dishes were safe! My colleagues enjoyed the gnocchi so much they ordered it several nights in a row. The onion soup was deeply satisfying as well. Thank you for making what could have been a difficult stay wonderful. Montreal has a lot to offer culinary wise, & this restaurant was no exception.
