Nous avons vraiment apprécié les drinks thématiques! La seule chose que j'aurais amélioré c'est le confort des chaises, mais quand même mieux que plusieurs autres endroits. Merci!
I've attended two events at Club Soda, both hosted by TEDx SaintLaurentBlvd. The venue is spacious but it feels intimate. The lighting plays a part in this. There is seating on the first floor with a great view of the stage & balcony seating in the second level. There's alsoa bar with drinks & snack on the first level. I always expect to have a difficult time finding parking, but its never that difficult.
Venue was packed to see Geordie Greep on April 1st. What an amazing performance, easily the best show I've been to in my life so far. Security seemed active & very polite which is always nice, water was cold & kept me alive. I noticed this venue seemed a bit warmer than most do, just make sure to drink plenty of water. The balcony area is fairly big but I had to stand the whole show due to getting there half an hour after doors open. It was a very tight 3 hr drive from Ottawa & I would do it as many times as needed to see Greep here again. As always the crowd energy in Montreal is so high, while still remaining very respectful to the music. Sound system was loud & clear, not as loud as some shows but plenty. I had no issues with the place would go again. :D
Awesome venue, never had a bad time here. Well layed out, you can see the stage from almost anywhere. Decent priced drinks for a concert venue. 10/10 will be a degenerate here again
7/10 - Fun Venue, But Some Real Drawbacks
Club Soda is a solid spot for live shows & events, with good energy & a central location that makes it easy to get to. The atmosphere during performances is fun, & the crowd vibe is generally great.
That said, there are definitely some downsides. The drinks are way too expensive, especially for what you're getting, which takes a bit of the enjoyment out of the night. On top of that, the bathrooms really need attention-they're cramped, not particularly clean, & feel pretty neglected considering how busy the venue gets.
Overall, it's a decent place to catch a show & have a good time, but the pricing & facilities keep it from being truly great. Worth going for the performance itself-just maybe don't plan on too many drinks.
Decent venue - not terrible drink prices, but abit high compared to other bars in the area.
I personally really like this event bar. It's not too small which is really good but it can feel cramped when there's a huge volume of people. There's even a balcony where you can sit back & watch the show. The drink I had was fresh & the staff were friendly!
Its big & yet small enough to feel intimate with the bands playing, awesome venue, the price on the drinks is average, but definitely would come again
i went to the venue a few days ago for a music show & i have no complaints for that, i had a lot of fun. what i want to bring attention to is the bar. before the show, i bought two shots for me & my friend. $5 each. drinks are always expensive in bars & clubs so i was not surprised, what bothered me is the lady's attitude. i did not give any tip because all she did was pour liquid in a small glass & she was not pleasant to speak to the moment i gave my order. tipping is not obligatory, regardless she got angry for it. i'm glad i didn't because she definitely did not deserve it then. here's MY TIP to that old hag, if you're so obsessed with getting a tip then maybe switch to a better paying job. it's not my fault you're not getting paid enough that you count of tips to have money. also next time maybe have a smile on your face.
Really liked the show, Projekt Revolution (3 bands). High energy songs & great musicians too! Hadn't been there in years, real fun evening! Nice, clean venue & drinks reasonably priced ($6 shooters). Would certainly go again 😊
