Review Summary

Overall, reviews describe Club Soda as a lively and versatile live venue in Montreal with intimate sightlines, a strong crowd vibe, and friendly staff, suitable for concerts, comedy, burlesque and more. The atmosphere is often praised for energy and warmth, with sound that is clear and powerful, though acoustics and lighting can vary from show to show. The location is central and easy to reach, and many performances draw an engaged, respectful audience. Common drawbacks mentioned include drinks that are pricey, bathrooms that can feel cramped and in need of attention, and occasional layout or seating quirks on higher levels during crowded events. Still, most reviewers would return for the experience and would recommend catching a show at Club Soda.

The lights in this place are way too bright for raves, the lights over the tables ruin the vibe. The second floor is open but they have chairs all over the rails which make it so uncomfortable to enjoy the view or dance. The staff is not the friendliest either.

Perfect venue for more intimate events. The sound was great the night I went (Arooj Aftab - a more acoustic genre). If you have accessibility needs, make sure to get there earlier to nab a seat either in the balcony or with tables/chairs around the ground floor.

Great place for live music, 2nd floor has sitting space (limited capacity though) & lower floor for standing concert expectations, bar is available on both stages with fair prices, parking is not available for the club, still there are private parking lots available near by, municipal payment parking & public transportation easy access, stay tuned to their concert schedule & go for the one you would like! I went to The Doors tribute band & for The Beatles, both bands did outstanding performance.

Saw Little Big perform here. Small venue, nice two floor views of the stage, & an absolute bounce of a concert. Haven't had so much fun in ages

A staple of the montreal festival scene but a little tighter & a little longer than most. Standing at the back means you're a little further from the band than the usual. Second floor has great seats however, just arrive early to get them as they are first come first served.

Great medium sized venue,
I've mostly been to general admission shows, where the whole floor is for a standing crowd, however sometimes they open the second floor which offers seated places on a first come first served basis.
