Delicious sandwiches! They have a ton of choices but the base ingredients stay the same (mayo, lettuce, tomatoes) & you get 2 ingredients you can customize. The Frank way is what the owner would say is best to get with the particular sandwich you pick (a fun surprise!).
I think their crispy chicken is so flavourful. The sandwich is also massive so you get quality & quantity. Lots of seating available.

First time customer & my husband & I really enjoyed ourselves. I had the salami Genoa & he had the chicken cutlet sandwich. Both were delicious. The bread was fantastic, did not get soggy but also not too hard to eat. The coffee is really good as well. Special shout out to the staff who were very nice as well. We will definitely be back.
Beau café avec une belle ambiance & de très bons sandwichs. À chaque visite, je me régale ! Je recommande particulièrement le sandwich au poulet avec tomates séchées.
Après une semaine passée dans mon cubicule, cloîtré derrière d'immenses palissades blanches édifiées par les nuages & les quatre vents, j'étais en mal de sortir. Dimanche est enfin arrivé, portant avec lui l'occasion d'une escapade gastronomique. L'enthousiasme était au rendez-vous : mon église « semi-sédentaire » de Rosemont s'était temporairement relocalisée à Pointe-Saint-Charles, un quartier en pleine mutation dont je n'avais pas encore eu le plaisir de découvrir l'offre culinaire.
Cependant, ce matin-là, ni A. ni moi n'étions au sommet de notre forme, & mon allant avait quelque peu faibli alors que mon acuité mentale était en berne : j'avais en tête d'essayer les sandwichs vietnamiens du Café Cosé, mais un court-circuit synaptique m'a fait le confondre avec le Petit Sao de l'autre côté de la rue (également vietnamien). En franchissant la porte, nous sommes tombés en plein dans une fête prénatale, où les regards insistants & quelque peu interloqués nous ont vite fait comprendre que nous n'étions pas sur la liste des invités. Il a donc fallu rebrousser chemin & changer de cap : le Café Clarke, à quelques pas de là, serait notre hôte du jour.
Ce n'était pas ma première rencontre avec les paninis du Clarke. Aux prémices de mon exercice de critique culinaire amateur, j'avais rédigé une critique au style ampoulé de leur nouvel emplacement à Kirkland, relatant de manière pathétique & embarrassante le manque de chaleur humaine dont j'avais prétendument souffert. Eh bien, j'ose à peine imaginer l'ampleur dramatique de mon épanchement si j'avais dû me rendre au Clarke de PSP à l'époque. Aujourd'hui, je crois qu'on m'a souri très exactement zéro fois. Soyons généreux & arrondissons à 0,5 fois. La bonne humeur des clients, pourtant, semblait au rendez-vous.
Comment expliquer la morosité du personnel dans un si bel établissement ? Le cadre est enchanteur : plancher de tuiles blanches & vertes, comptoir de bois, portraits de famille, tables de marbre... & la nourriture est à la hauteur ! De délectables chocolats chauds (4,80 $), d'une onctuosité & d'une douceur parfaites. De généreux sandwichs italiens (12-13 $) au pain léger, garnis de charcuteries fines, de fromage & de condiment, rehaussés par une sauce maison dont les saveurs portent les papilles aux célébrations de joie. Des arancini (6 $), tendres & savoureux, recouverts de sauce tomate & de parmesan, à déguster à la fourchette. & pour finir, d'amusants biscuits colorés (4,50 $), citronnés & moelleux.
On comprend aisément pourquoi le Café Clarke est devenu un repaire pour les gens du quartier & d'ailleurs. On s'y sent si bien qu'on pourrait presque y faire la sieste, comme cette petite fille au toupet brun qui s'était lovée sur la banquette. Malgré l'efficacité du service, l'absence de cordialité gâche en partie l'impression qu'on retire de notre passage. Après tout, qu'y a-t-il de plus nourrissant pour l'âme affamée qu'un peu d'affection ?

The lattes are so good. The chicken in the sandwiches are generous portion.
They often have a tv on & are open to show suggestions.
My favorite turkey sandwich!!! My go to lunch. Turkey all dressed with marinated peppers, eggplant & bomba. Fresh bread. Huge too. I always eat half & save the rest! Delicious every time!!!
I recently visited Clarke Café (PSC), located at 1207 Rue Shearer, Montréal, QC H3K 1H8, & it's a pretty cool spot! 😎 The place is unassuming, with a simple & laconic (minimalist) interior, but it feels welcoming. It has a good number of tables for its size, which is convenient. 🛋? tables
What really stands out is the food! They offer a large selection of sandwiches, various baked goods, & all sorts of other tasty treats. 🥪🍰 You won't be short on delicious options here! The coffee is also really good - strong & aromatic, just how I like it. ☕👃
&, as a bonus, there are lots of beautiful staff members! 😉 It adds to the pleasant atmosphere.

The girls working were so sweet & helpful, the sandwich was delicious & huge for the price, the connoli was so yummy, & i always appreciate somewhere with a water tap cus I drink so much water. I will be back !
One of the best sandwiches of my life. 2 days after eating this sandwich & I'm still thinking about it.
Next time, I will buy two. I can only eat 1/2 (at best, they're huge). I want two so that my relationship with the chicken cutlet sandwich can be extended beyond a single day.

WOW! Les sandwichs sont à rêver. Le poulet panné sandwich est super bon. Les sandwich sont d'une grosseur très généreuse. Beaucoup de place à l'intérieur.
