From start to finish we loved the atmosphere, the cider, the food, & the service. Our guests raved over the food which is an impressive feat with 99 guests to feed. Everything was served hot & cooked to perfection. The bartenders were so friendly & offered tastings to any guest who wanted a cider. Everyone was well taken care of & couldn't believe how beautiful the venue was. Thank you to Mégane for accommodating all our requests & organizing such an amazing night. We can't wait to celebrate our anniversaries here for years to come!
Great overall experience during the apple picking season. The apple orchard is well organized & clean. (The picking schedules are also available on their website). The bistro had great unique brunch options. I also recommend the cider tasting. The service was top notch. The servers knew their ciders very well. They also have fast-food style eating options. They were also grilling burgers outside. Boutique/shop seemed a little picey but they had some interesting apple-based items. (The BBQ sauce & Dry Rub are great). They also recently extended the'park' area for children.
Unfortunately the bistro was closed today & therefore, I can't comment on this. However, the surroundings are incredibly charming. This calls me to put it on my must visit again list. A small boutique onsite sells their proper ciders as well as other products from local vendors. Apples, of course are sold here as well.
The experience was top notch from moving us without hesitation to preferred table, very responsive service, great explanation & knowledge. Delicious ciders & the food was great using local fresh ingredients & expertly prepared. The setting & building are beautiful. I will be back & I highly recommend.
The atmosphere, the staff, & the whole setup were awesome We tasted some of the ciders & it was delicious The food was ok, i wouldn't say the best, but it was not bad. I enjoyed my visit
Cidererie Lacroix offers a memorable dining experience with brunch dishes that are both visually stunning & delicious. The fresh, high-quality ingredients elevate each meal, while the innovative yet unpretentious beautiful presentation impresses. The service is friendly & efficient, ensuring a delightful visit. 100% recommend this place if you happen to be nearby but is honestly worth the detour.
Nice place & good food. Together with the cider it is good recipe for a relaxing dinner. Will visit again.
Perfectly executed presentation & flavours! 10/10 all around. Come for brunch, lunch or dinner, your tastebuds will thank you. Unpretentious & absolutely simple yet masterful use of top ingredients & menu offering. Cider tasting is highly recommended, we tried everything from dry to very sweet!!
Everything was perfect on our recent visit. However, due to the fact that there is a problem finding people to work, Lacroix's service has been impacted. Although the servers went out of their way to provide the best they could, it was obvious that there just weren't enough people providing service. We were warned when we were seated, but it was a 30 minute wait before anybody took our order. I'm saying this so people know ahead of time. Regardless of this glitch, the food is excellent, & the atmosphere as well. Of course, Lacroix cider was superb!
I am a regular visitor to the Lacroix cider house & it is a very nice place. It is very nice, spacious & with a simple & elegant decoration. It has a very nice staff, who offers an excellent service. Their menu is not very extensive but the food is good. Obviously their cider is very nice & is made by them with the delicious apples that they harvest.
They have a very nice little bar in the middle of the room & there is a small tasting table to try their different ciders.
I love their Indoor Boutique which has a magnificent variety of products for all tastes. Its outdoor area is fantastic & sitting on the terrace is a very pleasant experience since the view is beautiful 👌
In conclusion, it is very worth visiting this beautiful place & enjoying a really pleasant moment in the company of family &/or friends.
Requested to dine indoors. However, patio doors were left open & there were flyers & mosquitos around us constantly. Service was very good & cider tasting was really well done. Food was very average for the price
Nice concept of boutique, restaurant, outdoor eating area & cider tasting booths, main building is brand new & very clean. Cider is awesome, great variety of apples, although Spartan, Cortlands & Empires are only available very end of September. Overall, great place to spend a day outdoors with friend or family. Where it's loosing a star is that service is slow, & there is an entry fee of 4$. It's like paying to have the priviledge of buying something...feels a little abusive. We might come back when my favorite apples are ready & have breakfast here to try the restaurant, but I feel, jsut for the entry fee, it might not be a keeper for me.
Our waiter was great, but we had a major issue when leaving that was a misunderstanding management really didn't care to bother understanding. We were charged a no show fee when we should not have been because the woman at the front did not check us in. We had one booking at 5:30pm for cider tasting & when that finished we had one booking at 6:30pm for dinner. We were there early though & since no one was there we did our cider tasting at 4:15pm & were finished before 5:30pm, our first booking. Rather than stand up, clean the table, & re check in all guests I went to the front of the restaurant & asked if the booking (under a different name as one more person was coming) was fine to start one hour early or if we would need to leave our table & re-check in. The woman at the front said that would be fine if we stayed at the table & started dinner early. We had more drinks, appetizers, dinner, & dessert & finished before our second reservation would have ended (would have been earlier but it was pretty slow to get food, which we were fine with). We were charged a no show fee for the 6:30pm reservation because she did not infact sign us in. I did not have my phone out as we were enjoying the live music so I missed the call from the restaurant (which is my mistake). The manager of the restaurant was extremely unpleasant to deal with & said he had to turn away guests because of us having two bookings totaling 11 people. But this could not have been true because we were done our first booking before it even started, which was checked in (& when we started this one the restaurant had only a few other guests), & our second booking ended early as well, & the bookings were not for the same time. I was told via email if we wanted a cider tasting we would have to make a reservation so I thought that meant a new reservation since I said in the email we had one already for dinner. I feel as though if a staff member says us staying at our table is okay then we should not be punished for it. The no show fee is supposed to be for no shows. If we had gotten up from our table, paid, & then immediately got seated again we would not have been charged anything. It would have been fine if they explained how to book next time & apologized for the confusion but how it was handled was not pleasant. We also understand that due to potential language barriers there was potentially a misunderstanding either via email, or with the waitress who told us we were fine, but in that case it is the restaurant's fault. We are tempted to charge back the amount directly with our credit card as we have receipts showing us being there. The experience ruined our impression of the establishment.
I love this place! The cider is great & the food is delicious 😋
They had a variety of ciders to try. The cauliflower dish lacked flavor & the beef was over cooked for our liking. At the same time the ambiance was a lovely mixture of woodsy, greenery & minimalism, which was greatly appreciated. The view of the apple orchard was like a cherry on top of the cake. Plus local ingredients for the win!
Beautiful setting, tasty ciders, & a delicious menu! A hidden gem not far from Montreal. Worth a visit!
