Chungchun Korean Kogo is the number one brand for Korean-style pogos (Kogo). Our specialty is one of the most popular street foods in South Korea - Korean Kogo.
Chungchun Kogo Coreen reviews present a mixed impression, with the taste repeatedly praised and the menu offering a range from corn dogs to fried chicken and mozzarella hot dogs. Sweet potato fries are described as divine, and overall flavors stand out, but kogos have drawn a recurring complaint about shrinking portions over time while prices stay the same. The service and ordering setup is described as quick but sometimes unorganized, with kiosk ordering and no visible queue. A sanitation concern is raised after an incident where spilled potatoes were put back in the container, though a replacement order was provided. Overall, the experiences emphasize strong flavor and variety but ongoing concerns about portion size and consistency may affect future visits.
Great food from chicken to kogos but it seems like the kogos are getting smaller over time. A month or two ago it looked a little small to me, but I didn't complain just assumed it was maybe a bit deformed in the frying, but this visit they were almost half the size as when I first starting frequenting this restaurant.
I commented on it but the employee just shrugged & said its the same no change. I always get the same kogos the #4 just mozz. This time it barely covered 1/4 of the stick. Kinda of disappointed & probably won't be back if this happens again. Not worth it for 6.50 a piece at this size..
I also saw the responses of other similar reviews saying the recipe hasn't changed, & each kogo is a specific size but this one was considerably smaller & quite frankly obvious so something must have changed or rules aren't being followed...

First time I tried it was in Hamilton & I can see that this location was just as good. Place is a bit small but came out relatively quick. Kinda weird that I didn't see anyone since you only order from a kiosk & then someone will call your name to pick it up the food.
To the manager of this place. Please educate your workers on proper handling of food.
Today, we bought, 4 corndogs, fries & chicken.
As the front person was packing our order, he spilled the potatoes. Half of the contents ended up on the front cash table.
As I saw this, I quickly said'Don't do it bro' as I had already foreseen what he was trying to do.... put the spilled potatoes back in the container... sure enough that's what he did.
I then told him I did not want those. His excuse was'he always cleans the counter' & he asked me if I still wanted the half-filled container. When I said, NO as I paid in full, he then mumbled in the back on how it's such a waste of food.
When we got our new potatoes, I then reminded him NOT to do such things as it is NOT sanitary to put back spilled stuff back to customers.. NEVER.
He was full of excuses instead of being apologetic. His last excuse was he'is a minimum wager'.
Update (Response to Owner):
Your prompt reply is appreciated & mirrors your comittment to quality. In fairness, my order was replaced by new one. However, as you may agree, offering a spilled food back to customer should NEVER be an option.
They taste good but the corn dog size is getting smaller with each visit while price remains the same. Today's corn dog (attached photo) doesn't justify the 10$ price any longer.
The kogo was incredibly delicious-perfectly crispy & fresh. It's hands down the best kogo I've ever tasted! The service was top-notch, with friendly staff who made us feel welcome. We can't wait to return!
The Korean Hot Dogs 🌭 are very tasty! They are also cooked very well! Even if you are really hungry, one hot dog is enough to fill you up! There are a variety of flavours! As for the fried chicken 🍗, it is simply amazing! Super flavorful, crispy & cooked to perfection! I took the creamy onion 🌰 crispy chicken however, I am now intrigued to try the spicy 🌶 flavours & the crispy cheddar 🧀 chicken! A small order is around 22$ but it is enough for 2 people to share! The cost is a little pricey but it is worth it since these are specialities & they are quite generous with the portions ! The atmosphere is great ! I love the decor & the random pink wall 🩷. It's not a big restaurant but it's an adequate size & the service is absolutely fantastic! The cashier was so sweet & accommodating ! I love people who work with so much compassion ! I would definitely go back !!! 😊
Finally this location in the west island. The food was excellent & the service & the guys working there gave me a wonderful service. Many options to choose from. A great addition to the west, will definitely be heading back there.
Tried a few different Kogos with the family. We really enjoyed them. A fancy, slightly overpriced, pogo with a Korean twist really very good. Staff was super friendly & helpful. The place is busy when we were there so staff not keeping up with cleaning tables or emptying overflowing trash cans. Still worth giving this place a try. They share the location with Chicken Plus-that's definitely worth a try!
