Undeniably tasty & perfectly executed every single time. I highly recommend the karaage, the chicken teppanyaki Udon, & the takoyaki :)))
Tried the chicken ramen - tasty & comforting, not flashy but well-made. The broth had a nice depth & the chicken was tender. The vibe is a big part of the experience: the place is cozy & lined with iconic anime posters & Studio Ghibli poster s - Spirited Away, My Neighbor Totoro, Princess Mononoke, which gives the space a fun, nostalgic energy. Pleasant spot for a relaxed meal.
Knowing well Japanese food living in Asia. Yes this is good but in my opinion way too much oil & onions in the sauce & not enough meat
Given the price I was disappointed by the portion (quite small) the tiny bit of meat & the huge amount of oil - the egg is a simple sunny side up not at all the Japanese egg I was expecting to get in a Japanese restaurant & for the price we paid!! Biggest disappointment
Service: there always only 1 girl in charge of the whole restaurant - so there was a very long wait - but she was very graceful & smiley
The gyoza are very good & the chicken as well
Ended up paying 120$ for 3 & not sure whether it's really worth it
Authentic Japanese restaurant near the city center. Great atmosphere & the staff is very friendly. This restaurant deserves to be known.
We did try various dishes & were not disappointed. We had Edamame, Gyoza & Karaage as starters, then Oyakodon & chicken Teppanyaki as main. It was clearly sufficient for 2 people. The kitkat dessert looked also very yummy but did not have it in the end.
Excellent service by my (very cute & friendly) waitress, awesome chicken, great vibe overall!
atmosphere was comfortable, but respectfully some of the food was nowhere near authentic. the bone broth in the udon was good, & we appreciated the variety of nabe veggies in it. on the other hand, the katsu was thin, dry & burnt, the chicken katsu also thin & dry, curry lacked depth of flavour, & the cabbage & pumpkin on the rice are also either overly burnt or soggy. & there was raisins on the curry rice which was weird. that was the saddest curry katsu don i've tasted...
Great food! I had salmon fried rice & fried chicken, so delicious! Really enjoy the cheese in fried rice, reminds me of the curry rice I had in Tokyo👍
This is my favourite restaurant in my neighbourhood. Consistency! It's always on point! Everytime I go there! Ok I was in Japan ONCE so I am not a Japanese food connoisseur BUT the Okonomiyaki & the Tokoyaki... Delicious, also the Karaage chicken & poke bowls (not in picture) & the cheese fried rice & Shrimp tempura Udon soup (In picture) Freshness & finest! The service is impeccable, the lady working there is so friendly I can't wait to go back. Thank you Chillax!
