Don't order here it's a waste of $90, the food was over 2 hours late & when it finally arrived it was the complete wrong order (we ordered Chinese food & received sushi & still paid $90 for it) further more my girlfriend was spoken to incredibly rudely by the delivery driver after we refused to tip
on account of the food arriving incorrectly & over 2 hours late any tip for that kind of service on a $90 bill is a ridiculous thing to ask for. Earlier in day I had phoned chez ping to inquire what came in the 78 pc chefs combo & was given incredibly vague response'it might have shrimp' when I pressed for more details the women refused. No where on the website does it state the chefs combos consists of sushi & further more the images above the chefs combo menu clearly depict Chinese food, no sushi mentioned or depicted for the combo menu. They ruined our Christmas party & refused to take responsibility when I phoned to complain, I was only offered a %10 discount which wouldn't even cover taxes. Afterwards I went in to the restaurant personally so as to find an amicable solution. No such luck as the owners were rude & unwilling to take responsibility in the slightest even after they admitted the chefs combo menu is misleading & does not mention sushi. I was blamed by them for not understanding that'78 pc' means sushi even though I had phoned as stated above to find out what it was & was given no answer that would indicate sushi. After nearly 30 mins of arguing & being treated poorly they offered a %20 discount on the next order. No free food no refund & no compensation in the moment. As to why I would waste more money at this amateur hour masquerading as a restaurant even with a %20 discount is a laughable joke. Do not waste your money here. Again it cost $90 to ruin our night even if we had known what we were receiving & it arrived on time the sushi was in no way worth the money we spent on it.
This little spot honestly serves some of the best sushi in the city! Every bite is fresh, flavourful & beautifully prepared. On top of that, the owners are warm & welcoming ! A true hidden gem!
Thank you to the owners of the restaurant for providing 5 star quality food & friendliness to us! We had a party & they were able to prepare delicious food with great presentation with little time.
Everything was delicious - we ordered the 100 piece sushi (HIGHLY recommend - fresh & great variety) , the general tso (crowd favourite), beef scallion ginger, fried rice & chow mein. They even gave us spring rolls which are huge & has a nice crunch.
The people at the restaurant are very kind & friendly with everyone.
I will be going back to order again & I highly recommend to everyone to try the place out.
Thank you again!
Anna
