I ordered (takeout) the basil sautéed beef with vegetables, & replaced the rice by crispy noodles. The crispy noodles were stale due to the oil being rancid. They were not edible. The beef, broccoli & mushrooms were very good, but the taste of the rancid oil spread to the other items mixed within.

Excellent food. I have visited this restaurant for many years. The food is always fresh & served hot. Lots of fresh vegetables with unique combinations. Great for lunch time, the service is fast. For dinner, it is very relaxed & you are never rushed to leave even with it is very busy. Prices are very reasonable for the amount of food served. Even the desserts are so good. You will not leave there hungry. All the employees are very friendly. This is the best Chez Lien in Montreal. & don't forget to bring your own wine!

This is by far my FAVOURITE resto. in Montreal. Their meals are healthy & fresh. Their vegetables are ALWAYS fresh & crispy...never old or rubbery. Their sauces are delicious, their meat & fish are tender & the service is exquisite. My kids love their Spring Rolls & I love everything...but my favourite is the Basil Vegetable meal. It's not easy to find a resto. in Montreal that's healthy & tasty...this is the place.
I go every week! See you there!

Whenever I go to a Vietnamese restaurant I take the tonkinese soup. However I decided to go for one of their noodle dishes. It was delicios, especially the vegetables that were cooked perfectly, & kept their crunchiness. The chicken was also delicious. Maybe a bit too much sauce that made the crunchy noodles get soggy a bit too fast. Still delicious. My wife had the spicy soup. I'd go back just for that. The best Vietnamese food in Montreal in my opinion.
