Le café littéraire Chez l'Éditeur se veut un endroit où l'on peut venir travailler, prendre un bon café, certes, mais aussi où l'on peut croiser des auteurs venus rencontrer leur éditeur, Québec Amérique ou Cardinal, dont les bureaux se trouvent juste derrière. Un espace hybride où se tiendront lancements, rencontres d'auteurs et divers événements, et où se mélangeront le monde de l'édition, cet univers intrigant, et le grand public. Enfin, un coin « librairie », où se trouvent tous les livres des deux maisons d'édition, invite les lecteurs de tous âges à venir bouquiner.

This has become one of my go-to spots to work, read, & unwind. The café is very spacious, with a unique book-focused setup; it almost feels like a library at first. The coffee was great. Highly recommended for anyone in the neighborhood looking for a comfortable place to read or get some work done.

I love their coffee & the atmosphere of books & couches. My only complaint is that often I walk in & no one is at the counter; I am not sure if that means they are understaffed but it had happened too often to be a coincidence. I usually go for the mocha...& their breakfast sandwich but the machine has been broken for awhile it seems.

The coffee is always delicious! It's a lighter roast espresso bean typical of cafes of this genre, so it's fruity & acidic. I love their filter coffee--I just wish they would fill the mugs all the way. Service is hit & miss, but there is ample seating area (including couches!).

Such a beautiful place with such terrible coffee. The food is pretty nice one, I tried the brownie & it was one of the best in town, but the coffee blend used for my espresso taste sour. It reminds more the taste of an empty stomach vomit than coffee, so better order something else to drink. The place is very good for working on the weekend in some busy atmosphere. The book choice is pretty nice in case you wanna buy some. BUT DON'T TRY COFFEE THERE! Don't make this mistake.
