The roast beef pizza is so delicious 🤩 Their special sauce, along with the crispy dough & a generous amount of toppings is unlike anything I've ever had! Chez Hailar delivers great value, friendly staff that offer the best service, & the most flavorful fresh dishes in town.
& a great bonus is the location: just a few minutes away from Concordia University!

I went when it was totally empty because it's Ramadan but the atmosphere is relaxed. The place looks like a fancy coffee shop. The food is a bit expensive (what isn't nowadays lol) but I think it's totally worth to try at least once. I got the roast beef & hot cheese bomb sandwiches 🤤
Sadly the only thing is that it's not very accessible; you gotta climb two flights of stairs. If you're able-bodied definitely check this place out; you won't regret it.View more

I definitely picked the wrong thing off the menu. I wanted to try the roast beef pizza but H chose the special pizza which he enjoyed. I got a salad that was really strange: a lot of lettuce, corn, olives, 4 skinny slices of tomato, pumpkin seeds & a small amount of sliced deli meat on top. It was slightly bigger than a side salad but definitely not a salad you would eat as a main course. After six hours in a car traveling to Montreal this was not my ideal first meal but it was close to our rental. The service was excellent & the server himself was extremely cordial. I would try this place again & pick better off the menu.View more
