Last week, my son, Jeremy & I had a heartwarming experience at Chez Elie in Chambly. We went in expecting to pay for some delicious food & ordered potatoes, rice, shish taouk, pita bread, & an iced tea. After chatting with one of the employees, I was stunned when the owner REFUSED to accept any PAYMENT & insisted that the food was free, saying to enjoy it at Jeremy's party tomorrow. I was incredibly touched by their kindness....tears in my car! A huge thank you to Chez Elie for their generosity & for making our day so special. If you're ever in Chambly, I highly recommend stopping by to experience their amazing hospitality & delicious food. 🌟 #Grateful #Kindness #ChezElie
