some dishes are pretty good, & some is just so so. The whole place is bit crowded. Dishes are on the table pretty fast after order. But after that, basically no service at all.
Went for dinner on a Friday night & selected the restaurant based on the below reviews . Had to wait about 10 mins on the stairs , during the wait they did not ask us how many seats . Finally they gave me a table which was vacant from the beginning . It's a noisy place .The tables are so close you can over hear all conversations . Coming to the food , I ordered sea food fried rice without squid . The rice was clamped up & not fried well with exact 6 big prawns which I felt was rubbery .
Worth its rating. I got 外婆菜 & 回锅肉. Both are fine They force tipping at the end (we were group of 2 & got 2 dishes). I was gonna tip the 15% anyways but getting forced is another feeling
Wonderful food, quick service, generous portions & fair price. The staff was extremely nice, even though the place was busy. Two things sold out or in the verge of being sold out, unfortunately: Tsingtao beer & lajiaoyu (chilly oil), it would be nice to see the restaurant restock them next time :)
