Located in a prime spot in Chinatown, this underground restaurant is always bustling with a crowd. The atmosphere is vibrant, & the staff is incredibly friendly & attentive. The food was quite good, though it took some time to get used to the unique flavors. Portions are very generous-almost too much. By the time I finished the appetizer, I was already feeling full. Despite that, I went on to try the Singaporean noodles, chicken fried rice, & assorted vegetables, which were all quite tasty. Given the popularity of the place, I highly recommend making a reservation in advance to avoid the long queues.
White fish in Mala broth is what drew me to this place & I was not disappointed. I ordered veg noodles along with the broth & the serving size is good for two- three people. The broth is medium spicy & the fish was really soft.
Been too a lot of Chinese places, but this One is the best Chinese food spot.
if you're looking for fancy, this ain't it. but if you're looking for good, spicy & tasty food, with a wide variety of choices, this is the place! service was attentive & helpful. the vegan hot pot & mushroom salad were delicious!
We walked in here without plans (as it was one of the few places in that block that is still open). What a pleasant surprise- food was solid good, no frills or anything. I would go back for sure.
Definitely one of my most favorite Chinese restaurants in Montreal, the portion is huge, good food, & nice service
The food here was so flavorful! I had the beef tripe, & the waiter made sure that I knew it wasn't an actual cut of beef (I did know, I've eaten it before, but I appreciate him making sure haha). The chow mein, chicken & potatoes, & fried rice were all great too. I've only had beef tripe twice, including this visit, but it's definitely the best out of the two that I've eaten. A great place in Quebec's Chinatown.
Used to be good, but not so much anymore. Chicken sauté had small pieces of bones in it. What was sold as pork was in fact mostly pork fat. My advice would be that there are too many menu options, it is hard to choose. They should concentrate on what they can do really well & reduce menu item count.
Very tasty Szechuan & Hunan foods! I'm happy to have found this place, & I plan to go back many times.
Very busy restaurant in the basement of a building in Chinatown. Food was tasty & in good quantity. Service friendly, attentive but at a fast food category. Their focus is to serve as many people as possible. Reasonably priced.
Horrible horrible experience here! Never ever recommend anybody here. Cashier Very rude & chef didn't care the customer at all.
Food was below average. Salt & pepper squid was just done wrong. Huge pieces with batter lacking any flavor.
