Wow just wow! Looking for somewhere to refuel when wandering the plateau or heading to the mountain? 🏔️ Check out the folks at Che Churros & Empanadas. BEST empanadas I've ever had & they were gluten free! Highly recommend the 2 empanadas + soup special. It was the warm hug I needed on a cold gloomy day. It brought sunshine ☀️ to my eyes. Bonus points for adding new songs to my playlist 🎶 I recommend taking time to sit & enjoy the chill vibe away from the hustle & bustle. Thank you 🫶can't wait to be back! Bonus for having a single stall toilet for people to use.

C'est la première fois que je mange un churro fourré au chocolat & je dois dire que c'était absolument délicieux. Le churro était croustillant & froid, comme je les préfère. (Pour les gens confus, un churro peut être servi chaud ou froid. Les deux sont valides.) J'ai aussi profité d'un empanada au poulet qui était très savoureux. Je recommande ce restaurant à tout le monde qui aime la bonne bouffe pour pas cher.

Tous leurs produits sont super & frais. Ils offrent une belles variétés de empanadas savoureuses & il y en a pour tous les goûts. Les sandwichs sont servis à chaque fois dans un pain croustillant qui nous permets de bien savourer les ingrédients. De plus, les churros sont rempli & croustillant sans être trop lourd. Je recommande fortement de faire un tour à Che Churros & Empanadas. Un beau petit coin Argentin qu'on retrouve presque pas à Montréal en plus d'être un des rares endroits où on peut bien se remplir la panse à moins de 20$.

Meilleurs churros que j'ai mangés à Montréal! J'adore le fait que le glaçage soit à l'intérieur du churros, ça rend ça plus spécial que juste une trempette.

Not a good experience, unfortunately the flavor of the empanadas was not there & felt average for the price ($5 each). Both my husband & I felt sick & heavy afterwards 🥴

These empanadas are super good! I love my empanadas for the lazy afternoons! The dough is perfect & the filling so generous & delicious! The girls are super polite & patient. Keep going!

Décevant, Les empanadas avaient une cuisson inégale, tout comme la garniture. Pas de courge dans celle à la courge & aux champignons. Pâte à peine cuite. Nombre de pots de sauce inférieur à celui commandé. Vraiment décevant.

They don't seem to master the "repulgue" which is the traditional way to seal the empanadas, so they open in the oven. It's not good as the filling needs to stay warm & moist. Tried it many years ago, whe. I encountered that problem, thought it was a bad batch & just dealt with it. Recently was at a fair, they had a stand where they sold empanadas, some where open after all these years! Unbelievable Can you please seal those empanadas? It's a basic thing to do.
