These empanadas are super good! I love my empanadas for the lazy afternoons! The dough is perfect & the filling so generous & delicious! The girls are super polite & patient. Keep going!
They don't seem to master the "repulgue" which is the traditional way to seal the empanadas, so they open in the oven. It's not good as the filling needs to stay warm & moist. Tried it many years ago, whe. I encountered that problem, thought it was a bad batch & just dealt with it. Recently was at a fair, they had a stand where they sold empanadas, some where open after all these years! Unbelievable Can you please seal those empanadas? It's a basic thing to do.
