Only had the churros, but they were so good we came back the next day for more. Montreal may be known for its poutine, but great churros at Che should also be added to your must-eat list when checking out the local food scene.
A quick stop for food prior to needing to rush somewhere. A couple empanadas & several churros (to share with others): excellent flavors, decent serving size, & pleasant service for a very fair price. If living or passing time nearby, Che Churros would definitely be on my list of go-to places.

Their empanadas are hands-down the best in town-crispy, flavorful, & packed with delicious fillings (with plenty of veggie options, too!). Each bite is pure South American magic, & the homemade chimichurri takes them to the next level. & if you've got a sweet tooth, you HAVE to try their alfajores-soft, crumbly, & filled with dreamy dulce de leche. Trust me, they're the perfect treat to finish your meal.

honestly one of the best places in montreal for true authentic empanadas, you're gonna want to bathe in their chimichurri sauce. Not many seating areas as the restaurant is small but very worth it my fav is the Spicy Meat one.
Tried Empanadas for 1st time & it was delicious. Tried few different flavours in vegetarian options. So yummy & fresh. Girl at the counter was super helpful & friendly. This place is small but cozy. Would go again.
They have 3 types of vegan empanadas & the one I tried in house is the best empanada I've ever had & the sauces were so perfect. (They even use vegan cheese). I took 2 to go.
