I ordered chicken combo which is coming with fries 🍟,
I used to go there to order something , the quality of food was really good but last night when I got my order , Unfortunately, I found a fly on the vegetables that were supposed to go into the sandwich, which was completely unhygienic. I think this will be my last order from here, both because the food quality has dropped & lacked flavor, & because of the poor hygiene.
I tried two different Champion Doner locations in my hometown, Mississauga, & was blown away each time. So I was thrilled when they opened a location in my new city - & right in my neighbourhood too! I eat here nearly weekly. There are a number of Turkish restaurants downtown but this one is easily the greatest one. Amazing quality food - delicious, seasoned meats, fresh veggies, house made bread & a expertly crafted garlic sauce. Plenty of options - I rotate between the wrap, sandwich & the box as they are the most budget friendly. But once in a while I treat myself to a plate, which comes with a half piece of bread so you can make a little sandwich of your own. Service is also very good here. It's a comfortable place to sit & eat with lots of room, but I usually don't eat there since I'm closeby. They are close to the metro & open late - can't get any more convenient. They serve the food pretty fast too. I can't think of anything they don't do right here, deserves more than 5 stars.
It was my first time trying Turkish food, so I wasn't very familiar with the different food options. Ali was so nice & took the time to explain everything to me. I tried the beef sandwich, & it was absolutely delicious!
The place is also very clean, & the staff is friendly & welcoming, especially Ali. I had a great experience & will definitely be coming back again!
Immediately the staff were dismissive, I tried here after seeing someone say it blows antep kebab out of the water, I can safely say that's not the case. The chicken was bland at best, way too many vegetables, & so saucy that at one point I wasn't sure if my half eaten sandwich was a solid or a liquid.
The food & portions are genuinely a hit or miss. I got a beef sandwich, my friend got a chicken sandwich, & the difference between the two was insane. His was warm & tasty, whereas mine was dry & cold (we got the same spices too). The service is bad, the employees can get your order completely wrong (i.e., instead of letting you choose your toppings, they do it for you). The restaurant layout is confusing as you purchase towards the end, then pick up your food at the front. It's extremely loud so forget about dining in
The size of the bread got smaller its harder to chew & the price increased too, its a downgrade to the Doner sandwich let the owner know the same he was rude
