The Chalet is an old style place with smell of Persian food. It takes me to my childhood & the 1370s. The staff are so friendly & welcoming & the food is so delicious & tasty. It tastes like home made food. I strongly recommend it to everyone & will definitely go there again. Although we live in Ottawa, we will go there alot.

I've been to this place twice. Once we had sandwiches in summertime & the other, we had kale pache in winter. They offer a wide variety of Persian dishes including kebabs & even halim. The staff are super friendly & the food is delicious. I just wish the atmosphere could improve somehow & the cleanliness could definitely be better.

Kale Pache (Persian dish) was really great. The service was good too. But it was not very clean place, the toilets were untidy, there was dirt on the chairs (probably from the day before since we were the first customers that day)

Exceptional Persian cuisine at Amu jan's restaurant! The flavors were exquisite, & Mehrdad's warm hospitality added a delightful touch to the dining experience. Highly recommend!

I was really glad to be there & try the original Persian taste.
You won't face a great restaurant at the first glance,but when you started your meal,definitely you'll find out that here is the place that you should come back very soon!!!!

we tried chef salad as starter & was fresh with a nice decoration.
our entree was filet kebab. i'm a steak freak & think i'm addicted to that entree!!!!was really a mighty meal.

we had salad Shiraz & mast-khiyar on the side & were the things that we were looking for.

for dessert lovers there are good choices to have sweets & traditional Persian confection with tea.
