Chai Sutta Bar has established itself as a popular destination for tea enthusiasts and those seeking an authentic Indian dining experience in a cozy, modern atmosphere. Visitors frequently praise the rich and flavorful chai served in traditional clay kulhads, which many describe as a comforting highlight of their visit. The menu offers a variety of delicious snacks including vada pav, maska bun, and flavorful rolls, all of which are noted for their fresh ingredients and generous portion sizes. While the overall feedback highlights friendly and attentive service, affordable pricing, and a welcoming environment, some guests have offered constructive suggestions regarding wait times, music volume, and the importance of secure packaging for takeaway orders. Despite these minor points, the restaurant is widely recommended for its vibrant energy, high quality of food, and the genuine hospitality that makes it a perfect spot for gathering with friends.

We were really happy with our visit. We had adrak chai with aloo paratha & vada pav, everything was delicious. The taste, portion size, & service were all great. Highly recommend!

Great cafe serving different types of chai & snacks . Ideal to stop in for a quick snack & warm up
We stopped in during the weekend & had elaichi chai, bhel, chaat & paratha. Everything was good in taste & portions!
Service is good you order & then sit & wait for the order, depending on what you order it's a reasonable amount of time, clean & polite staff .

Definitely recommend trying & great place to warm up during the winter months for a cup of chai & snacks.

Was too hungry to take pictures, but here goes . Walked in skeptical as haven't had a decent vada pav in Montréal ( both in terms of size & taste), & really enjoyed not only the taste but the size of it . 2 vada pavs with just the right blend of chutneys & a fried green chilli to add that extra bit of heat . The only change I'd do is add a bit of crunchy bits .
The paneer pakoora was ok , tbh just a tad bit more dense in the batter , but the taste was good.
The star of the show was the aalo paratha & kadak chaaye . Fresh paratha without an actual balanced spice mix , & the chaaye was actually pretty strong.

The person on the counter was not only attentive , but made sure he got feedback from us after we had a bit to eat.

I will be coming back for the parathas & the vada pav .
