Review Summary

Chai Sutta Bar is described as a lively, welcoming place where kadak chai served in kulhads and a variety of snacks create a comforting, affordable hangout. Reviews highlight flavorful chai, tasty food, friendly service, clean surroundings, and a good vibe that makes it easy to return. While the menu generally impresses with chai and snacks like vada pav and parathas, occasional issues appear such as longer wait times, occasional misdelivered desserts, concerns about lid security and spillages, and requests to lower the music so conversations can flow. Overall, the spot is seen as a reliable favorite for a quick tea break or casual get-together, offering consistent quality and good value with attentive staff.

We were really happy with our visit. We had adrak chai with aloo paratha & vada pav, everything was delicious. The taste, portion size, & service were all great. Highly recommend!

Great cafe serving different types of chai & snacks . Ideal to stop in for a quick snack & warm up
We stopped in during the weekend & had elaichi chai, bhel, chaat & paratha. Everything was good in taste & portions!
Service is good you order & then sit & wait for the order, depending on what you order it's a reasonable amount of time, clean & polite staff .

Definitely recommend trying & great place to warm up during the winter months for a cup of chai & snacks.

Was too hungry to take pictures, but here goes . Walked in skeptical as haven't had a decent vada pav in Montréal ( both in terms of size & taste), & really enjoyed not only the taste but the size of it . 2 vada pavs with just the right blend of chutneys & a fried green chilli to add that extra bit of heat . The only change I'd do is add a bit of crunchy bits .
The paneer pakoora was ok , tbh just a tad bit more dense in the batter , but the taste was good.
The star of the show was the aalo paratha & kadak chaaye . Fresh paratha without an actual balanced spice mix , & the chaaye was actually pretty strong.

The person on the counter was not only attentive , but made sure he got feedback from us after we had a bit to eat.

I will be coming back for the parathas & the vada pav .
