The parathas were absolutely delicious, & the kadak chai was just perfect - I have no words! The vibe was amazing, & the owners, Uncle Asim & Aunty Sabiha, were so warm & polite. They made us feel completely at home. Such a heartwarming experience! ❤?Highly recommend this place.
Aloo Paratha was made fresh to order & deliciously flavourful.... & spicy. While I absolutely love chai, I don't believe I've had Karak chai before & found this style more on the bitter side.
The restaurant is small & can maybe fit about 20-25 people in total.
The only turn off about this visit was that you could hear all the noises coming from the bathroom & the owner decided to do some drilling work during business hours & while diners were enjoying their dinner. A little unprofessional in my opinion. The repairs didn't appear urgent
Great food great atmosphere. Especially the aloo paratha & mango lassi (super thick). As well as chicken tandoori tika
The food was so yummy i mean the people who are looking for homemade paranthas & chai.. this is the best place to go.
The food was generally good, but the prices were a bit high considering the portion size & overall quality. The service & staff were okay, nothing exceptional. I'd recommend it for those who don't mind paying a bit extra.
We ordered two combos - Aloo (potato) paratha & Gobi (cauliflower) paratha - each served with yogurt & Karak Chai. The service was courteous & quick, & the food was absolutely delicious with an authentic Lahori taste & flavor. Every bite reminded us of traditional home-style cooking.
A must-visit spot in Downtown Montreal for anyone craving genuine Lahori-style parathas & chai. Highly recommended!
We ordered Alu paratha & paneer parantha combo with ginger chai, parathas & chai both were very tasty. But quantity of raita with paratha was not enough also had to order pickle & butter on side. I also ask for warm water which they refuse to warm for us & instead offer me water bottle which was obviously not warm at all.
The food was excellent, first time I enjoyed the same taste as in Pakistan of all food in a foreign country. Must try
Excellent experience felt like home specially parathas felt like my mom made it for me ☺?
Home made Pakistani breakfast with loads of ❤?! The owner couple is amazingly good in hospitality 😊
I visited Chai paratha on a Montreal trip last month. This place was a must try on my to do list & I must say, it didn't disappoint! I loved the beautiful, cultural interiors & the food was finger licking good. As others mentioned in their reviews, we felt at home there as the owners who are a sweet couple chatted with us & gave us recommendations from the menu. The chai was amazing, the aloo parathas was flavirful & soft & the best part is, everything was so reasonable. I recommend this place to anyone visiting Montreal & who would wanted to have an authentic & delicious brunch!
Amazing food! Love the parathas💫✨. If you would like to experience true pakistan cultural cuisine, do visit chai paratha 😃
I just had one of the best cups of masala chai I've ever had here. Tastes like they use real quality spices. My kid had the mango lassi, also excellent. The service was great too you can tell they appreciated us being there. I can't wait to go back & try the food.
The most authentic Pakistani breakfast I've had in North America! Very cute little shop & reminded me of Pakistan very much. 10/10 must visit. Chana masala is a must try
