We visited this place on a Saturday for breakfast with a group of 15 family members including kids & the first thing we noticed was this establishment was packed with customers & not enough seats were available for us but to make our experience excellent, the owner(behind cash counter) requested other customers & made some seat movements so our family could have a cozy corner table with heated sofa. The WOW breakfast experience started right from the moment we entered this establishment & then came our food (Halwa Puris, butter chicken, aloo parathas, Nutella parathas, karak chai, puris) every single order was exceptionally tasty & delicious. What a gem of a restaurant right in heart of downtown Montreal. This place is a must visit not only for their delicious food but warm & welcoming customer service which was top notch & second to none.

The chai was rich, perfectly brewed, & carried the authentic Pakistani karak flavour, with just the right balance of sweetness. The chicken paratha was fresh, delicately flaky, & generously filled with tender, well seasoned chicken that complemented the tea beautifully. Together, they evoked the warm, homely essence of a traditional Pakistani breakfast. I highly recommend this place to anyone seeking an authentic & satisfying desi culinary experience.
We came all the way from Toronto & wow - Chai Paratha Montréal blew us away! We ordered the lacha paratha with anda piyaz & karak chai, & everything was 10/10. Authentic, home-cooked flavors that instantly reminded us of a proper desi breakfast - crispy, fresh, & full of soul. The prices were super reasonable too, which made it even better. Honestly, nothing in Toronto even comes close to this place. A hidden gem that deserves all the love. Can't wait to come back! 👏
I felt ripped off. We paid almost $40 just for two chai, two aalo paratha & two lacha paratha with anda piyaz (eggs) while ate chicken meal combos for way less price at other restaurants in the neighbourhood.

We are here for a visit & came to have our breakfast. Had halwa puri, chai. Aaloo paratha & Kashmiri chai. I would say the food & service was superb & would highly recommend the food. The owner was very nice & friendly. Highly recommended. 10/10
I had been going there regularly every weekend to enjoy their traditional breakfast. It is a mom & pop type store that offers warmth & ambience. The choice of music is good & the interior exudes a very relaxed & laid back vibe. Coming to the most important their orders are fresh & their kitchen is visible while ordering. The entire procedure is quite transparent. The taste is lovely, although I mostly go there for the breakfast but their parathas are crispy, fresh & rich in stuffing. Totally recommended, their owner Mr. Bajwa makes a point of making interactions & cultivating relationships with their clientele.

We were treated to mouth-watering parathas that were perfectly crisp on the outside & soft on the inside - pure perfection! The channas were packed with flavor, & to top it off, their tea is simply the cherry on top, adding the perfect balance to the meal. As a lovely gesture, they even offered us complimentary saag, which made the experience even more special. Highly recommend.
