They sold my brother & husband spoiled carrot halwa & when we called to ask about some missing items (cholay/garbanzo beans), proceeded to hang up on him. All we were asking for was a refund on the one item that they didn't put in but we paid for. Yes, maybe there's a language barrier, but that's no excuse for selling spoiled food or owning up to your mistakes. It's too bad, this place is unique & has a lot of great potential IF ONLY they can be responsible & courteous.
Excellent chicken paratha, kashmiri & masala chai. Lovely people & service.
Wait time is too long 45 min+ & on top of that they got my order wrong
Today we had the best food of Pakistan in Montréal coming all the way from America to spend vacations here loved every thing in menu we ordered best delicious food good service & best environment to welcome there customers 100/100 highly recommend this place
Nice-looking place, but unfortunately, my experience as a Latina tourist was very uncomfortable. The woman at the counter was unfriendly & dismissive toward us, while being noticeably more welcoming & attentive to other customers who appeared to share her cultural background. The difference in treatment made me feel discriminated against & unwelcome.
On top of that, after a long wait, the chai tasted exactly like the instant chai powder I use at home, nothing special at all.
A beautiful place means very little when you don't feel welcomed or treated with the same respect as everyone else.
Perfect spot for a group meal. We were 10 people & they accommodated us beautifully. If you're in Montreal & want authentic, homemade parathas in a warm environment, this is it.
My friend recommended this place & I'm so glad they did. It's exactly the kind of restaurant you hear about through word of mouth because people actually care enough to share it. The parathas are made fresh, the chai is perfect, & the hospitality is the real highlight. These are the places that deserve your support. Loved it.
Chai Paratha is the real deal. Went with 9 other family members including my grandparents & cousins who are 11 & 13, & every single person left happy. The parathas are fresh, the chai is exceptional, & the owners genuinely make you feel like family.
They remembered us from our previous visit which meant a lot. My grandparents absolutely loved the chai & parathas, & the kids went crazy for the Nutella paratha.
We've been thrice now & the experience is consistently amazing. Whether you're ordering sweet parathas or the classic savoury ones, you can't go wrong.
This is a family-run spot that actually cares about their customers. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Montreal.
We decided very last minute for food at their restaurant & they were closing but they did not turn us away! Instead they welcomed us inside & served us & waited till we finished. We went with kids so you can imagine the speed we had...regarding food, i felt like im eating at home, so authentic, flavorful & delicious. We tried Nehari, Sarso ka saag, alu paratha, cheese paratha, gobi paratha. Everything was soo yummy!
We ordered allo paratha deal, butter chicken & kebab paratha roll, cook lady was polite. Food was delicious, she used whole wheat for parathas, it tasted just like home. Would definitely recommend.
