The food was fresh, flavorful, & perfectly made. The parathas were stuffed generously, the chai was aromatic, & the gajar halwa was the perfect sweet ending. On top of that, the owner was extremely humble & spoke so nicely, which made the whole experience even better. Highly recommended!
✨ Today we visited chai prantha during our 4-day trip to Montreal, & honestly, this was the best part of our trip! The parathas were absolutely delicious, & the kadak chai was just perfect - I have no words! The vibe was amazing, & the owners, Uncle Asim & Aunty Sabiha, were so warm & polite. They made us feel completely at home. Such a heartwarming experience! ❤?Highly recommend this place.
Aloo Paratha was made fresh to order & deliciously flavourful.... & spicy. While I absolutely love chai, I don't believe I've had Karak chai before & found this style more on the bitter side.
The restaurant is small & can maybe fit about 20-25 people in total.
The only turn off about this visit was that you could hear all the noises coming from the bathroom & the owner decided to do some drilling work during business hours & while diners were enjoying their dinner. A little unprofessional in my opinion. The repairs didn't appear urgent
Great food great atmosphere. Especially the aloo paratha & mango lassi (super thick). As well as chicken tandoori tika
The food was so yummy i mean the people who are looking for homemade paranthas & chai.. this is the best place to go.
The food was generally good, but the prices were a bit high considering the portion size & overall quality. The service & staff were okay, nothing exceptional. I'd recommend it for those who don't mind paying a bit extra.
We ordered two combos - Aloo (potato) paratha & Gobi (cauliflower) paratha - each served with yogurt & Karak Chai. The service was courteous & quick, & the food was absolutely delicious with an authentic Lahori taste & flavor. Every bite reminded us of traditional home-style cooking.
A must-visit spot in Downtown Montreal for anyone craving genuine Lahori-style parathas & chai. Highly recommended!
