Their teas are very interesting & flavorful. I would to recommend this place to my friends who are interested in Japanese teas. I would like to try their ochazuke next time, which must be authentic & tasty.View more
Their tea selection is huge & we ended up choosing what the owner recommended. The green tea was mind blowing. The tea is exceptional quality.
We also got 2 desserts & the complement the tea so well. One of them is rice mochi & the other is a creamy mousse cup. It feels like a little piece of Japan in Montreal. A truly amazing experience. However, seats are limited so you might have to squeeze in a little bit. Love the atmosphere, hospitality & tea!View more
This is really tiny place, so if want to have a tea inside - better to have a reservation.View more
This tea salon is really a hidden gem in Montreal. The Japanese owner is so sweet & welcoming. The tea & the sweet snack were delicious.View more
A great & unique tea-based experience. You get to learn how to make special teas & eat delicious food originally from the south side of Japan.View more
A nice & peaceful little tea shop. The choice of uncommon teas were worth it.View more
This tea salon is truly one of Montreal's hidden gems. The moment you step in, you are welcomed with warmth & a sense of calm. The food is delicious & the service is truly one of a kind. The tea options are numerous & well elaborated. I definitely recommend this place to everyone looking for a personal experience to slow down from the everyday rush of life. Shiho is an amazing host & cook. Thank you so much for the amazing experience 💗View more
This particular tea distributor offers workshops on tea tasting. I hadn't been there before the workshop, but the owner was kind & knowledgeable & she even offered scrumptious homemade treats accompanying the teas we were trying out. It was a great experience & would 100% go there again. View more
I am wowed at the vibes, the amazing tea selection, their presentation of the tea & food was out of this world! I will be back!! 😁View more
I went in to look at tea paraphernalia & was quite surprised to find a tearoom in the back. I couldn't help myself but to try it & was clumsy enough to not take my shoes off before entering the tearoom (there are baskets by the entrance to put your shoes in). The place is maintained by the owner who obviously loves her store, it feels very welcoming & warm. There is a great variety of teas, all served in beautiful ceramics & bowls. Small snacks are available with good vegan options & diverse enough for people with dietary restrictions. Highly recommend.View more
Please please please come to this place & order food with tea. It is truly amazing how she makes her miso soup with her twist. The delicacy of tea making is the experience you will never got anywhereView more
One of my faves in Montreal, so peaceful! Amazing selection of teas, snacks, & giftsView more
A hidden gem, just a block away from the bustling noise of Mont-royal street, with a great atmosphere tea house. Very small, compact, but well organized, like ony the Japanese can do. The owners are kind & welcoming. The variety of tea kinds is great, & there are light snacks that you can consume with your selected tea. Oh, & if you want to bring this piece of beauty to your home, they also sell beautiful tea pots & various tea.View more
Best tea house in Montreal. Clean & quiet space to have quality moments.View more
Great people. Definitely worth a visit. Teas were great & presented really nicely making them more worth the price. Food was absolutely amazing. Very much recommend Japanese risotto & matcha brownie dishes. Matcha tea done in traditional way, drink fast d/t loss of heat tho. Small amt of tea in cup, but that is traditional & I liked it that way. Very friendly service. Sort of uncomfortably hot in the store area, but a bit cooler in eating area. Very small, only for small small groups. Water is room temp BUT also traditional way. Atmosphere 3 star d/t stools to sit on are uncomfortable for long periods & such a small space for any larger individual.View more
Highly recommend for an authentic, cozy & intimate tea room experience. The best selection of quality teas & delicious snacks made in a small kitchen by the owner herself!View more
A neighborhood hidden gem with cozy vibes, friendly service, a large selection of teas, & delicious, innovative yet authentic desserts. Highly recommend the mochi dessert plate!View more
Best tea I've ever had, served in a simple & elegant way. The staff are happy & very knowledgeable.View more
This adorable hole in the wall will redefine Japanese cuisine to the non-initiated, & will enchant those accustomed to real Japanese cuisine. The cook is an adorable 1st-generation immigrant who will prepare the tea right next to you. The food is incredible, too: in 10 years living in Montreal, it's one of the 2 best instances of fish I've ever had. Cannot recommend enough !View more
+++ Wide, well-curated, well-described selection of specialty teas. +++ Kind & attentive service. +++ Beautifully & tastefully decorated. --- Get ready to pay the price. This is an absolute gem. A small & lovely teahouse coupled with a cozy teashop, it makes for an easy win in the gourmet category. A selection of music plays all throughout, at times calming, at times cheery, but always interesting to hear. While the price tags tend to be on the higher end, with them come selected teas in a quality-over-quantity philosophy, along with artisanal teaware in a myriad of lovely shapes & colors.View more
The place is cute & aesthetic with a variety of teas. The owner is nice as well, but matcha for 8 dollars+ tax for only a couple of sips is not worth it. Also, it wasn't that good. I will not be coming back.View more
Outstanding little tea shop, a ton of purchasable cups, pots, teas & other things. The tea shop is very small but super cool, it was great to get out of the cold, relax & try a few different teas & snacks. I'd definitely recommend trying a few teas & snacks.View more
