Je viens de récupérer ma commande pour emporter & malgré l'achalandage, l'attente en vaut toujours la peine même si j'habite a 30 minutes de la place. Le personnel est agréable & très accueillant ce qui explique la touche d'amour dans chaque plat servi ❤?

Legitimately life changing food is being made here, 10/10 food for real. My plate had diri djon djon, griot, pikliz, plantains, macaroni, green salad, & some type of soup. The diri djon djon is a must get for the rice choice, it's something that's good enough to even be eaten just by itself. The griot was crispy on the outside, tender on the inside with a perfect mix of meatier & fattier pieces. The combination of rice, pork, white onion, & pikliz (pickled veggies) is a match made in heaven. The macaroni serves as a great palate cleanser & is also delicious, & the soup served is incredibly flavorful. For the portion size, you are getting incredible value. Service was average but considering this is a local restaurant in a Francophone area, they were very considerate to speak to my brother & I in English & explained the menu well. Atmosphere is that of a local takeout spot, nothing insane going on & some music playing on a TV in the back. Important things to note; takeout only, cash/debit only. This is a must try for anyone visiting Montreal, it will certainly be one of my staples for as long as it's open whenever I'm in the area.

La viande est d'une tendreté incroyable, juteuse à souhait, avec juste la bonne dose de croustillant. Le pikliz ? Une explosion de saveurs qui réveille les papilles - impossible de ne pas tomber amoureux dès la première bouchée.
L'ambiance antillaise est chaleureuse & authentique, le personnel vous accueille comme si vous faisiez partie de la famille, & chaque plat respire la passion & le savoir-faire.
Les portions sont généreuses, les saveurs sont riches, & les prix sont incroyablement abordables pour une telle qualité. On a l'impression de voyager sans quitter la ville.
Petit point à noter : il y a seulement quelques places pour s'asseoir, donc c'est principalement pour emporter. Mais honnêtement, avec une nourriture aussi bonne, on s'en fiche - chaque repas est un pur moment de bonheur.
En bref : une expérience gourmande addictive, à recommander les yeux fermés ! 🍽?🔥
Le fritay était à tomber par terre : meilleurs accras, meilleurs plantains, meilleure sauce & meilleur pikliz. J'ai tout aimé, mais le griot m'a un peu déçu... Il y avait beaucoup de gras, je m'attendais à plus de viande.
Par contre, le poulet, la dinde & le légume ont l'air excellents. Un endroit à réessaye
La nourriture est bonne, mais l'accueil gâche tout. La jeune fille aux cheveux frisés à l'entrée est hautaine, irrespectueuse & donne l'impression qu'elle n'aime pas travailler. Son arrogance saute aux yeux & son manque de savoir-vivre est flagrant. Franchement, c'est un très mauvais choix de laisser une personne aussi désagréable représenter le restaurant, car l'attitude du personnel reflète directement la valeur de l'établissement

J'ai demandé une suggestion. L'accueil était simple & vrai. L'espace est exigu mais chaleureux. Pour la nourriture? Perfection. Goûteux. Généreuse portion. Bravo. J'en rêve encore ce matin ! 🎉 😘
