Casse Croute Chez Sauve is described as a classic casse croûte with an old fashioned diner vibe and a U-shaped counter where meals are eaten on site, no tables, serving simple fare like hot dogs, burgers and fries along with standout poutine and steamies. Reviewers praise the poutine as among the best, the straightforward, no-frills approach, and the affordable prices that feel like a bargain in todays market. The spot is loved for its charm, decor, and friendly service, and while lines can be long in the summer, it is felt to be worth the wait. Some notes mention longer waits for regular poutine or for orders with multiple items, yet the approach of simple prep with fries topped with cheese and sauce is appreciated. The overall impression is a local, reliable favorite for a quick, comforting lunch with a classic vibe and satisfying staples like hot dogs and poutine.
Une halte pour un hot-dog & frites. Style'dîner' d'autrefois avec comptoir en U pour y manger sur place (pas de tables 😉). C'était conforme aux attentes de ce type de restos 😊.
In todays world where everything costs an arm an a leg, I love that this little diner so full of charm can offer you a great little lunch for under $10 bucks. Will go out of my way to get my hot dog & poutine fix here. Kudos to you.

What can you say about Sauvé? It's really a classic casse-croute. Everything is excellent here. Yeah, in the summer the lines can be long, but it's worth the wait.
Food is good price is fine..
The wait was long...we only had 1 regular poutine & we waited almost 30 minutes for it is what doesn't make sense to me... throw them fries in the plate, cheese it, sauce it, done. Shoudnt take the same time as an order with multiple burgers & hot-dogs...

Food was great (poutine & hamburger). Portions were a little small, but, to be honest, enough. Prices were good & atmosphere was nice. Dog friendly, too!
Sauvés is the best casse-croute in the world! The owners are wonderful, community minded people who are always friendly & inviting! Food is delicious & always prepared with care! Love Sauvés!!!
