Second time trying it. Both times I had a burger l, which are very good, once with onion rings, which are very good, & second time with a poutine, which I will give my rate. Menu is simple & to the point. Love the ambiance l, & the layout of the establishment. Only issue with the place is limited seating, & parking is somewhat of a challenge. I will come back here for sure, want to try the pizza. As for the value, it's at par with other places as well. Don't expect to pay fast food prices, then again, you are getting real food here. Turbo burger is a 3 patty burger, & Carrera burger is a double one. What I do find expensive though is the addition charge of bacon. It's quite steep for what they charge. But the burger is very tasty, just on a note they need to season the burger though at the end if possible. Salt & pepper please if you're reading this. Also how about adding lettuce & onions. Don't care about tomatoes.

Poutine 6/10 it's quite big for the price, but the sauce is a bit thin, & I prefer BBQ sauce over brown sauce. Also fries are just usual fries. Nothing special.
Next on the list is pizza.
Also coffee is very good. Just like in Greece. Cafe freddo just like back home.
I think it's my last time going here for a burger & poutine. To be honest the burger is too smothered with their special sauce, & you have to dress a burger up too....no lettuce. Just pickles & onions. & their poutine sauce really got saltier for my taste. Bland fries too, if you are selling a poutine for that size at 9.50$, you gotta give a better sauce & cheese. O. G burgers baby poutine is at $5 & is the same size as their regular & it's a better poutine.
No doubt this is the Best smash burger in Laval & top 5 in Montreal. The staff was super friendly & helpful, the decor & ambiance were on point. If you are a Porshe aficionado this spot is for you...hint the name'Carrera's resto'. We tried a few of their burgers & the butter garlic fries. They also offer soft serve ice-cream & pizza. We tried one of the ice coffees on their menu & it was delicious. This burger can easly compete with any of our smash burger joints back home in southern California. We will definitely be back on our future visits to Montreal.
The hospitality was evident from the moment we walked in. It was our first time & they made sure to treat us as family. The poutine, pizza & smash burgers were perfection. There's plenty of space to sit & eat. The Porsche sitting in the corner was a beautiful addition to the space! Great vibe! Highly recommend going Sunday for the cars & coffee meetup!
I went to an event hosted at Carrera's resto & I had the opportunity to meet the staff. I had a great conversation with them while trying their amazing coffee & food. The food was outstanding; the smash burgers were hands down some of the best I've ever had, perfectly cooked & packed with flavor. The garlic butter fries were addictive, & the coffee was exceptional. The staff provided friendly, attentive service & made us feel right at home. The unique car-themed ambiance makes this place a true destination, whether you're a foodie or a car enthusiast. It's clear that a lot of passion & attention to detail goes into everything they do. Felt odd since the moment i stepped in ,a mom with kids, wishing to get a haircut & a coffe while waiting for our turn.
The kids were moving around the place & the eyes of people starring at us, the customers who were already there were so disturbed from the presence of other people with kids there.
It sounded like I was interrupting a conversation,a family meeting or a social gathering between friends & definitely not welcomed at all.
The place seemed to be a family owned bussines ,a weird vibe & a desire to leave the place as soon as possible.A place that doesn't invite you to stay in at all.
Prices a bit expensive considering is a local coffee shop.
I am from Long Island, NY & here for a hockey tournament in Montreal & had seen Carreras on instagram & so glad we came in. Such a cool atmosphere with great cars & people. The food was amazing & the coffee was just as good. Wish they had more apparel to purchase but was able to get a hat & shirt for my son. If you own a Porsche or any euro & are visiting/live in Montreal try & catch one of there car shows here. Top notch. Peter was also very welcoming like part of his family. 👍🏻👍🏻
Pizza's awesome, so are the smash burgers. The Porsche vibe is unique, they have a car parked inside & a nice collection of models. Coffee is great as well, no alcohol though. There's an adjacent barbershop as well... definitely a one of a kind place.
