The expansion looks beautiful & the aesthetics of the café are genuinely really nice, but unfortunately the food quality has gone way downhill. It was so disappointing to pay over $25 for a pizza that was extremely greasy, had a huge crust, & tasted like it was made with very cheap cheese - honestly like cafeteria-style cheese. Even the hot honey they give on the side was a letdown: such a small portion, watered down, & not flavorful at all.
We also tried the smash burgers, & they were just as disappointing. They were overly greasy, & you could actually taste that cheap, unpleasant oil. We honestly felt sick after eating. Even the coffees were underwhelming - having a fancy machine is not enough if the coffee itself isn't made well.
Overall, it was a very disappointing experience, especially for spending over $70 & not enjoying any of it. The space looks great, but the food & drinks absolutely did not live up to the price or the presentation.
Bien que je comprenne le'hype' sur les petits'diners', le look des lieux n'a pas été suffisant pour que je ne sois pas déçu par Carrera's Laval...
Tout d'abord les prix! J'ai commandé 2 smashed burgers composés se 2'patties' avec une poutine dite'large', mais plutôt moyenne partout ailleurs, le tout pour la modique somme odieuse de plus de $37.00 !!!
La bouffe... Burgers plus que smashed, mais plutôt brûlés, sur des pains mous & mouillés par la sauce trop abondante & les oignons rôtis humides... La poutine elle, goûte franchement la poutine d'aréna avec ses frites mal cuites, molles & le fromage de qualité très moyenne!
Pour vous dire, j'aurai mieux fait d'aller manger une vrai poutine'large' & un rôteux chez Gérard ou des burgers chez Dick Ann's...
Je l'ai essayé & malgré la vantardise de mon sympathique hôte, je n'y retournerai pas... Je suis trop pauvre & j'aime en avoir pour mon argent & ce qu'on me promet!

Went for the smash burgers, & we were not disappointed. Classic crispy patty on a potato bun, greasy & delicious. The fries are fried in beef tallow so they have a richer flavor.
The vibe is modern & clean, with a barber shop adjacent to the main dining area. It does feel a little bit like you're in an episode of the Sopranos at Satriale's though…
Only downside is the location, a little out of the way.
Absolutely loved my experience. The burgers are incredibly delicious, & the original atmosphere is a real treat. The vibe is lively, complemented by great music & comfortable seating. It's a must-try for anyone who appreciates a good burger! The young man at the cash is so polite!!
J'adore ce type de place géré par des passionnés. Ça sort de l'ordinaire, les employés sont incroyables & le décor est wow. J'ai pris une pizza qui est servi avec du miel épicé & du nutella qui est très bonne. Le smash burger vraiment très bon aussi.
Excellent food. Pizza was delicious. So were the burgers & the fries. Food arrived hot & in a timely fashion. Service was very courteous & food came in fast. Music was a little too loud for our taste but when we mentioned it to the waiter he brought it down a notch as well.
Overall, excellent experience.
Highly recommend.

This place has an incredible atmosphere-beautiful, stylish, & aesthetically pleasing. They make some of the most delicious coffee drinks around, & it's the perfect spot to grab a coffee with dessert or sit down for a full meal. The pizzas are authentic & made with fresh, high-quality ingredients, cooked to perfection. The fries are perfectly crispy, & the poutine is pure decadence. But the burgers are my absolute favorite: fresh ingredients, a perfect bun, & top-grade meat that's cooked just right. Hands down, this is one of my favorite places in Laval.
One of the best vibes I've been to I waiting a few mins for my order which I had no issue with at all but they offered my a free donut! Fantastic staff & the food specifically the burgers 11/10

Nous avons trouvé l'endroit overhyped. Smash burger correct, rien de spécial. Cafés freddo cappucino vraiment pas de notre goût. Musique relativement forte.
Bémol sur les employés, ils étaient tous super gentils. Beau décor authentique!
Came to this place with my sister to try out their food. Our turn came to order & while ordering I asked the cashier if their menu was Halal to which he replied saying their burgers are halal then asked him if he has some sort of certificate or proof to verify that & he said that he can show me their packaging in which they have their meat/chicken marked as halal. Later the cashier came out with who I assume was the owner/manager who came asking us what he can help us with, explained to him the situation & he was showing some slight attitude & just seem like he didn't want to show us the proof that their food is halal saying with his words only that he guarantees the food is halal he then says that he will take a picture of the packaging & show it to us to which both me & my sister agreed on. He took the pic came back showed us the halal logo on it saying with sarcasm & attitude but still keeping a smile'is this good enough for you' which I found very rude of him to say because me being a Muslim customer I need that relief & reassurance that what I'm eating is halal but it just seem to be a problem for him. After the owner left I had given my order & was waiting for my food when my sister was leaning on the glass counter which we didn't think would be an issue. The owner comes back out & sees my sister leaning on that same counter & rudely tells her to not lean on it. He could've said it in a much nicer & polite way because it's not like we knew she wasn't supposed to do that. Our order came we sat down & a few minutes later the cashier is walking around asking other customers if they needed anything else & did not bother asking us. Customer service very bad owner/manager very rude & unprofessional. Do not plan on coming back here.

We tried smash burgers, poutines, onion rings, & buttery garlic fries. All amazing. Try the buttery garlic fries with the spicy honey!
We will be back for the pizza next time.
