What a wonderful surprise! Café Souvenir has a fresh new energy, & the new staff truly make all the difference. Everyone was warm, attentive, & genuinely welcoming from the moment we walked in.

The service was fast, friendly, & professional, creating such a relaxed atmosphere. The food was delicious, the coffee was excellent, & you can really tell the team cares about providing a great customer experience.

It's great to see this neighborhood favorite thriving with such a fantastic new team. Highly recommend stopping by if you're on Bernard Street-you won't be disappointed. Looking forward to coming back soon!

Café Souvenir, is one of my favorite places to visit since the early 90's. In the heart of beautiful Outremont, this little, but quaint spot mimics places you would see in Paris. Over the years the restaurant has gone through some amazing renovations & in its current state, it's even more charming than before.

Staff was super polite, spoke both English & French. They checked in on us many times during our visit & lunch, to make sure everything was perfect.

The food I rated it as a 4.5 star. There was nothing wrong with it, but if I had to nitpick, I would say the bacon was dry, but edible. Still, almost a 5 stars, so not the end of the world because of the bacon.

The restaurant was very clean, tidy with things in place like they should be. Bathrooms, that can make or break a resto, was surely not a problem here. Although tiny, it was immaculately clean, so 10 out of 10 for that!

Their menu is not vast, but for a small place it's just perfect. They do serve beer, but no wine, from what I could see but I could be wrong. Another thing that they did not serve is dessert. Not sure why, but nevertheless, in & around Cafe Souvenir, you can find places easily for the sweet tooth in you.

Finally, a shout out to our server Giulia, more than just a pretty name, Giulia's service was top notch. She engages with her clients, much more than many other places we've been where the servers can't even acknowledge our existence! LOL!!

Great job everyone, keep up the world class service!!

Visited Cafe Souvenir on a Sunday afternoon. Had a fantastic experience.

The restaurant itself is cozy, which provides for a very pleasant, intimate atmosphere. The restaurant is very clean & well decorated. There is also a terrace that opens onto a pedestrian-only street in the summer months. While I sat inside, the terrace would be a great option for many.

I tried the fish, french fries, beer, coffee, & dessert (I was hungry). It was all very well prepared. I'd definitely recommend everything I tried.

The staff was excellent. I was served by Isabela. She provided quick & professional service, & was a pleasure to talk to. She contributed very positively to the experience.

Un retour très attendu !
Après une période de fermeture suite à un changement de propriétaire, le Café Souvenir est enfin de retour & ça valait vraiment la peine d'attendre.
L'endroit a gardé son charme, avec une ambiance chaleureuse & une excellente qualité dans tout ce qu'ils offrent. On sent un beau renouveau tout en respectant l'esprit du café.
Un énorme merci à notre serveuse Brésilienne :), qui a rendu l'expérience encore plus mémorable Son accueil, son sourire & son professionnalisme font toute la différence. Un service exceptionnel !

Nouveaux propriétaires, gentils, très bon service. Ils m'ont dit qu'ils allaient avoir un nouveau menu dans quelques semaines, très hâte de goûter à ça!

C'est encourageant, ils veulent ramener Café Souvenir à sa source, comme c'était avant, comme quand j'étais jeune quand j'allais à l'école ici, avec une petite touche personnelle.

Hâte de voir tout ça!
