Delicious coffee, fresh pasties, & super friendly staff! The staff were very warm & lovely. I really enjoyed talking to them.
The Pistachio Bombolone was very fresh & soft! It tasted amazing.
Stopped by Café San Gennaro for a quick coffee. We only tried a couple drinks but they were very good & the staff was warm & welcoming. There is also a nice outdoor seating area which made it a pleasant stop. The pizzas coming out looked amazing & I will definitely be back to try them next time.
Pizza is great. Check your bill. If you order a mix of different pizzas, they will charge you seven dollars per slice no matter what it is. Most likely because of a lazy employee that doesn't bother to check what you ordered & just charges you the most expensive one .
I can't describe how good is this place, everything was so delicious, & the coffee pfff 🤤
Great for a quick slice of pizza, drink or a coffee. Not too many places to sit & place seems to be always crowded, but it's worth a visit if in the hood.
It's basically like being in Italy. Have a seat at the bar, enjoy a coffee, a nice slice of pizza & finish off with their delicious sweets. Do yourself a favor & walk in hungry!
Absolute Gem! Can't go wrong with anything on the menu, or off the menu ;)
Sunday brunch, Italian edition 🇮🇹🍕☕?
Three slices, one cappuccino, & four self-declared travel experts planning their third'once-in-a-lifetime' trip to Italy. 😏
Pizza. Bombolone. Coffee. Italians. What else do you need?
Great service all day long.
Roman style square pizza with a great variety of fresh toppings. I love the thinly sliced potato topped slabs.
The lemon-basil Gelato is particularly refreshing.
Pistachio bomboloni is delish & decadent.
I've visited Café San Gennaro twice now, & both times were delightful experiences. Their pizza was tasty, but the real standout was their cannolis (the shell was perfectly crisp, while the filling was smooth, creamy, & just the right level of sweetness). All the flavors balanced beautifully, making it one of the best cannolis I've had.
The latte was also well made, & overall, the prices felt fair for the quality you get. The only downside is that seating can be limited, especially during peak hours, so timing your visit matters.
What really adds to the experience is the friendly & welcoming staff, who make you feel right at home. If you're looking for a cozy café with great Italian treats, Café San Gennaro is definitely worth a visit!
