An incredibly quiet & comfortable cafe that offers a nice retreat from the business of Mont Royal. Very kind & accommodating in English & en Français. Brilliant value, as well :) note: they (like many businesses on this street) only accept Canadian cash or Canadian Debit, so plan accordingly!View more

J'achète des grains de café, de la poudre de cacao & d'autres produits divers ici depuis des années 2000 quand ils étaient situés sur Rachel. Commerce équitable, prix très abordables, excellente qualité, vaste sélection... Je n'ai jamais rien trouvé de comparable, ni en ligne ni en autre cafe a montreal.
I've been buying coffee beans, cocoa powder, & other sundries here since the mid-2000s, when they used to be located on Rachel. Fairtrade, highly affordable, great quality, huge selection... I've never found anything comparable, either online or in-store in other montreal cafe.View more

I heard their coffee is really good around the area, so we decided to garb a latte. We entered to the store around the store opening. There are already busy, so my expectation got higher. I enjoyed coffee smells, I could hear they grind coffee beans. I noticed that lots of customers purchased coffee beans. Baristas, cashier were very friendly. I was looking forward to drink my but unfortunately it was lacking espresso taste, & watery. I even couldn't finish it…it was sad for me. I am hoping to try coffee beans or drip coffee next time though! There are a lot of different regions beans, & fair tread beans too. Looks nice! Just additional information-they don't take Credit cards.View more
