The best Persian restaurant I have ever been to! I have been to several which include Cartier Perse & Persia & I am so happy to have discovered Yas as the other ones I have mentioned do not come close to the quality of food & customer service I experienced at Yas. Anyone who lives in Montreal should come try this place- I only have amazing things to say! Best new experience!

I ate there for my birthday dinner with my family. The service was great & the food was fantastic! Ate a lot of delicious foods for a reasonable price & even got a birthday song with some very tasty desserts! Can't wait to go back there again & I highly recommend it!

Woow:What a amazing night.We had in YAS restaurant .We were 6 people & the food was awesome, excellent & very good service especially the food that I like was KHORESHT FESENJON & LAMP SHANK with basmati rice. At the end we had for dessert BASTANI (safferan ice cream mix with pestach)

Nous sommes allés deux fois a ce restaurant pour des diners de fête (la première fois c'était au mois de mai 2012, la deuxième le 12 octobre 2013). Nous avons apporté notre propre vin & gâteau d'anniversaire. Le service a été extrêmement courtois & patient (surtout vu la taille de notre groupe). Le décor est magnifique & l'ambiance très chaleureuse. Nous avons essayé les différentes entrées & plats principaux; ils sont tous préparés avec beaucoup d'attention, mais l'agneau mérite une mention spéciale, c'est un des meilleurs que j'ai jamais gouté. J'y retournerai avec plaisir & je le recommande a tout le monde. Je ne m'attendais pas a un si bon restaurant dans ce quartier!

Après avoir lu les commentaires sur le site de resto, Montréal j'ai décidé d'essayer cet endroit tout simplement parce qu'il était près de l'endroit où j'étais.
Quelle déception! Nous y sommes allés en suivant les avis lus sur Tripadvisor & resto Montréal, & ce fut un repas cher & juste correct. Il a fallu porter réclamation auprès de la serveuse, car il manquait des éléments essentiels dans chaque assiette. & tout ça pour des prix dignes des restaurants montréalais.
Des produits bons, mais sans plus. Vu le prix du menu pour les quantités c'est ……..!

We had a BD party. The only thing that we like is the ambiance - calm & authentic.. for this the resto get 1+ stars from 5....
First of all when we choose from the menu & wanted to order the waiter said that we're missing this, that & so on..She was very aggressive from the beginning, the food was not as described in the menu & rice was totally cold. I ordered "beef stew goulash with beans" there were 2 small pieces of meat - 1 beef & another one chicken!.... when waiter asked why there is a chicken in beef stew she couldn't explain & seemed very mad that we asked.... My friend order "white fish"... they served salmon.... when we told her that this is not a white fish again she was very mad... Another friend ordered the same like me, the beef stew, it was just 1 piece of meat- chicken with skin!.......... also, There were small bones in the salmon....
Dessert: I didn't want too complicate i said - ICEcream... pretty clear... what I received it was some different dessert kind of ice cream but with nuts! I'm allergic to nuts, I didn't asked (forgot the name) I just said icecream & they decide to bring me the one that more expensive...
BILLS: Our friend had total for food 19$... they calculate somehow taxes & 15% tip (by default) & somehow his bill went up to 44$!!!!!!!!!!! 200% tips WTH they said- ooops mistake... but for the rest people they just add 15% tip by default... but the service was terrible! it wasn't mentioned that the tip is by default if we are group more than 7 people..... she said it when we asked why she added 15% tip.... HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!!!! AVOID!!

Hi, We are disappointed you and your guests did not have a pleasant experience. Please note all menu items are subject to availability based on season and supply. Our stew Ghormeh Sabzi is rich in flavor and only contains Grade AAA Canadian beef. As for our Persian ice cream, which is we are the only Persian restaurant to make in house and the most sought after desert, does contain pistachios as indicated in our menu. There are many other items that contains nuts or nut products and these are also clearly indicated. We always expect patrons to advise of any food allergies prior to ordering. Thank you,

Ordered Persian food for the first time for a group of ten people. The food was very well received... there were no left overs. It was my first time tasting Persian food & it was absolutely excellent tasting.

My dealings with the restaurant ordering on-line were very pleasant & they were so accommodating with the menu choices.

Just wanted to share our great experience at Yas,

We had a little party of 8 & were all very happy with our decision to eat there.

I ordered the Soltani which was amazing, one skewer or seasoned ground beef & one skewer of filet mignon.

My friends all ordered to their taste & were all very content with the quality of the food & the service we received.

Not to forget, you have to try their home made bread & ice cream !

Should be going back soon, even if I am discovering alot of restos on this site.

I celebrated my birthday there & very happy about it. The food & the service were excellent. I was really surprised by the interior. Very cosy & comfortable. My friends said we have to go there again.
