Review Summary

Café Reine Garçon is widely celebrated as a cozy, welcoming, and queer-friendly neighborhood staple in Montreal, praised for its exceptional coffee, perfectly balanced lattes, and standout treats like the carrot cake and pain perdu. Visitors frequently highlight the friendly and attentive staff, the inviting atmosphere, and the quality of both seasonal drinks and homemade food options. While the space is sometimes noted as being limited in seating or prone to occasional scheduling inconsistencies, the overwhelming consensus is that this unique, unpretentious spot serves some of the best coffee in the city and fosters a genuine sense of community.

We went for coffee to go here yesterday & it was amazing. We had oat latte & oat capuchino Even the bagel BLT is awesome. Cozy atmosphere at the shop. We support local coffee shops. Keep it up. 😊

Always a pleasure to go, either for coffee or a hearty homemade soup.

My local coffee shop when I first moved back to mtl, have moved several times since & keep coming back here. Great vibe, info on cultural stuff (queer & other) friendly staff, all around good.

I have had one of the most flavourful coffees here! it's very rich, deep grain & sweet but also'onctueuse'!
In my experience of reviewing as many local coffees as I could this year, I decided to venture on Duluth & found this place open early which is a bonus for morning folks like myself.
Now unfortunately gluten free options are limited ! you can get a dates' square but not much else - however the coffee was just as good as I expected; one of the best coffees I had in the plateau. They also seem inclusive with their decoration & Pro-Palestine Poster!
