Udon was super good, the portion size looks small but it was honestly filling & more than enough. Amazing matcha too but my fav has to be their dango. Really friendly service too!View more
Coming to Montreal to visit, this udon cafe was on our way back from the Mont-Royal park, super delicious post-walk meal! The broth is very flavourful & service was efficient!View more
The onigiri & matcha were fantastic! The curry tastes great, but the portion is on the smaller side for North American standards. Unfortunately, the lady taking our order didn't seem in the best of moods, which is understandable because we all have our days, but we truly felt like we were bothering her just by being here. I liked the food so much I wanted to order some again to take back home, but I felt almost reluctant to go to the counter. I wish that hadn't been the case : (View more
Food looks good, but tastes bland. My friend & I each ordered cold noodles , gyozas & drinks + dessert. I personally got sesame cold noodles & vanilla matcha.
I rarely leave reviews, but I feel the need to be completely transparent here.
As for noodles, the taste was extremely bland. The texture of crispy flakes very quickly became soggy & off putting in the noodles but that might be a personal preference. The most flavourful part of the dish were shiitake mushrooms, which speaks for itself. Portion is underwhelming, just like the taste.
As for the matcha, it was very sweet & i could taste more syrup than matcha. Also, the vanilla syrup they use tasted very artificial to me which affected my rating.
Overall, the food mostly just *looked* good but didn't taste it. Service was alright, nothing much to say. Wouldn't return, wouldn't recommend 🤷?♀?View more

I was in a group of 4 & my two first friends ordered while my other friend & I had to wait in between to order for over 10 minutes standing there, not sure why, even though we had mentioned we'd be 1 group. The food was ok, nothing to ride home about.View more
The onigiris are delicious & at a reasonable price. I tried the matcha yuzu drink & it was very tasty, a little tangy & refreshing.View more
A casual Japanese street food restaurant in downtown Montreal. You need to go to the counter & order/pay first. Then they'll bring the dish to your table. Tried miso cream mushroom beef udon & it was delicious! Credit cards accepted.View more

Great atmosphere, friendly staff & superb service.
I had the tempura onigiri & it came with the rice still warm.
I also got the curry udon with extra beef & the noodles had the perfect bounciness to them & the curry was just spicy enough.
With a drink, came to a total of about 34$View more

Nice little udon restaurant with small menu. The quality of udon is very good. We lived in Japan for a ling time & the udon at this restaurant is comparable. Size is very small for North American standard but similar to what we normally got in Japan. We also tried the origiri & it is average. Overall it is above average but don't expect you'll get super full after a bowl of udon here.View more
