Update: Tried chicken sandwich & Ferrero rocher cake next day & it was disappointing. The chicken was missing taste & the cake was gummy & chewy.
First time: Very tasty Italian sandwiches & desserts. I tried steak sandwich with fries that are served with chipotle mayo, Oreo cake & tiramisu. All tasty & at reasonable prices.
A traditional Italian café in the Italian neighborhood in Montreal!!! The coffee is great as well as the atmosphere!!! The cornetti are very tasty I definitely recommend it!!!
Café Milano's is such a gem! This charming Italian café has the best subs ever-I've been coming here for years, & they never disappoint. I always tell my friends about it because everyone needs to try it at least once! This place is extra special to me because it's where my boyfriend & I had our first date. Since then, it's become my go-to spot, & I'm always excited to come back. The food is fresh & delicious, the atmosphere is warm & inviting, & the staff are so friendly. If you're looking for amazing Italian subs & a cozy spot to enjoy them, Café Milano's is the place to be. Highly recommend!
Must try Staple for Italian food. Always with quality ingredients & done with a perfect science. I am always happy to get one of their coffees. It is so smooth with a punch of good espresso

Staple neighbourhood café with excellent Italian coffee, desserts & sandwiches. Good for a quick bite or sit down with friends. I like both this location & their Laval location. It gets pretty busy & loud though.
Accoglienza calorosissima come la si può trovare solo in posti italiani. Veramente tanta tanta cortesia e gentilezza. Il cibo è buonissimo, lai sandwich alle insalate e ai dessert. Sia i proprietari che il personale sono davvero amichevoli e sanno sempre mettere a proprio agio i clienti. Consigliatissimo. A wonderfully warm welcome, the kind you can only find in Italian places. Back in the 90's, this was the best place to get an Italian sandwich in St. Leonard. Be it steak, sausage, veal, or chicken, the sandwiches were fresh, delicious & reasonably priced. No more as times have changed. I ordered a veal & a steak sandwich yesterday. Also ordered a cappuccino while I waited only for it to be served when my order was ready. Bread was very stale. Toppings were no longer generous as they once were.
I recently visited Café Milano & ordered a cappuccino & a Nutella lobster tail for takeaway. The coffee shop has a charming, old Italian style which adds to its appeal. The cappuccino was excellent, perfectly crafted. The Nutella lobster tail tasted good but was quite sweet. Service was relatively fast, making for an overall pleasant experience. There were lots of people & place was loud.
Neighbourhood fixture for 37 years. Family owned, looking for an identity. Italian style sports bar resto with limited menu. Small front & back terrasses nice in summer.
