I had a nice experience at Café Léo in downtown Montreal. The place is quite big & the vibe is really pleasant. There are many tables, which makes it great whether you just want to enjoy a coffee or sit down to work. They also have larger tables if you want to work with friends or in a group.
I ordered a latte with coconut milk & it was good. I also tried the cheese croissant, which was tasty & nicely crispy on the outside, with good cheese inside. It was a little pricey for a croissant, but that's understandable for a downtown location.
The staff were friendly, & I also noticed they sell a few items like tote bags & T-shirts. Overall, I recommend this place.
Huge space & few options for glute free diet! I liked the vibe & the idea/ concept of coffee & clothes
$14 for a matcha & a black coffee, & the black coffee wasn't even filled & looked dirty.
Very nice & polite to employees! They help you over the Montreal Coffee experience with passport stamp! :)
Wow, the coffee here is delicious! It was so good to have this spot right next to our hotel. The staff were super friendly & took the time to explain the different types of espresso they offer. I got the overnight oats, which were good. The only downside is that their to-go packaging, especially for iced drinks, could be better. Overall, it's a really cool spot to grab coffee & get some work done.

Grabbed a quick coffee & goodie here on a Saturday. Seems like a popular student spot. Service was fine & drinks & food were good..
Great coffee, served by very friendly baristas - even when I didn't know how to say'whole milk' in french. Nice chill atmosphere for hanging out as well.
Very pleasant place to drink coffee & work.
At my visit, I stupidly left my suitcase at my chair & the friendly staff kept it safe for several hours until I could return to retrieve it (& they didn't even laugh at me)
Had the Vanilla Latté here several times & each time is better than the last. This is by far the best coffee in the city as far as I've tried! I'll be making it a regular stop.
Was in town for Osheaga, & found this coffee shop conveniently located around the corner from our hotel. I love checking out new, cool cafes, & in that sense this spot hit the mark. However, the staff were not very welcoming. Perhaps it's different in Ontario, but usually one is greeted when entering, smiles all around, & just a warmth within the service. Barely a hello when approaching the counter, no smile at all, definitely no thank you. I still tip because I've been a Barista for over ten years, & understand the difference tips make to income. It's so EASY to be warm & welcoming...I couldn't help but think it was because I'm English speaking. I will say, the coffee is fantastic & unique, but consider adding a level up in the friendliness dept...greeting a customer when walking in the door goes a long way.
The other day I had the most amazing decaf latte, milk had perfect texture & coffee taste was perfect. I got the decaf because it was 4pm. So I figured their regular latte would be even better. So today I ordered their regular latte & was sadly disappointed. Milk texture was off, maybe because it's was overheated & taste was kind of bland. Maybe there was too much milk. All I wanted was to experience the magic of that decaf latte I had. But I understand that there's just too many variables that go into a cup of coffee & it's hard to be consistent. Anyways, I might give it another chance next time but will have to temper my expectations.
Great coffee but if your plan is to work or study, be prepared to use your own data because wifi signal is really bad.
I've tried both the espresso & the matcha here, & they're truly great. I love the rotating exhibitions of local artists on the walls, it gives the space a unique & creative vibe. The energy is always positive, thanks to the friendly & welcoming staff. It's also a great spot if you're looking for a relaxed place to work or enjoy a coffee surrounded by art.
I'm a big coffee lover & often visit different places. This café is one of the most beautiful & atmospheric in Montreal. If the weather outside is great & you don't feel like working from home, this café is the perfect choice. Delicious coffee, reasonable prices, & once again-the atmosphere.
