Very chill space. It's part cafe, part gallery. The cafe part is simple enough. Good espresso, some patties & pastries that I did not try since I had a meal beforehand. The barista was super chill. A man who I took to be the owner was chatting away with a patron about something. Can tell this is a beloved place by it's regulars. The gallery part was a little more unique to me. The owner put a bunch of collectibles on display, including an impressive sneaker collection.

Great ambiance & I love the recommendation sheet they have of places in Montreal at the entrance! It fosters a lovely sense of community that is rare in your typical trendy cafés.

Stopped in for coffee, the staff were so welcoming & made easily the best macchiato I've had in Montreal. The music playing was very pleasant & they had some recommendations for other restaurants & bars. Very nice place to enjoy a coffee & a pastry, I will definitely be back again!

Cafe Gotsoul has such a unique vibe that you just do not find in the big chains. I love supporting local businesses that actually care about the product they serve. The seating area is comfortable & clean, which is always a major plus for me.
