Crèmerie Gelato, also known as Gelatos began its career in 1962. This charming spot was created for families and friends in the area to get together to enjoy an ice cream on a beautiful summer day. It is a place frequently visited by people who would like to enjoy a delicious artisinal ice cream with an old school feeling. The Oliverio family purchased Crèmerie Gelato in 2013 and continues to follow its’ traditional ways while preserving a friendly and safe environment. The Oliverio family believes that in maintaining the quality of Crèmerie Gelato, it gives a lot to the local community and provides a space for the community to come together.

Great experience, quaint little spots. Very good Gelato same like Italy, especially the pistachio authentic in taste reminiscent of Italy. Great service with a smile.
Je suis venu dans ce café pour une petite douceur, mais j'ai été très déçu. La part de gâteau à 11 $ était loin d'être fraîche, beaucoup trop sèche, & clairement pas à la hauteur de mes attentes. À ce prix-là, je m'attendais à bien mieux.
En plus de cela, l'employée qui m'a servi n'était visiblement pas de bonne humeur, ce qui n'a pas arrangé l'expérience. Bref, une mauvaise expérience dans l'ensemble, je ne pense pas y retourner.
Nous avons pris une part de gâteau style « Ferrero rocher » & un tiramisu à emporter. Nous avons été grandement déçus par les deux. Le gâteau avait un goût typique d'un gâteau qui est resté trop longtemps au frigo, pas frais. Le tiramisu avait meilleur gout mais restait fade par rapport à ce que l'on attendrait d'un tiramisu.
L'attention était bonne cependant & le lieu à l'air sympathique.
Café Gelato is truly one of the hidden gems of Montreal. From the moment you walk in, you're welcomed by a warm & inviting atmosphere, beautiful décor, & a team that genuinely cares about the experience of their guests. The space has a great vibe whether you're stopping in for a quick coffee, enjoying a relaxed brunch, or meeting friends.
The menu is thoughtfully curated & everything feels fresh & high quality. The brunch options are excellent, the paninis are delicious, & the desserts are incredible. Their homemade gelato is definitely a highlight & a must-try if you visit. You can really tell that a lot of attention is put into the ingredients & the preparation.
What makes this place special is the overall experience great food, great coffee, friendly service, & a welcoming neighborhood feel. It's the kind of spot you want to come back to again & again. Highly recommended if you're in Montreal.

As this was one of the few places selling gelato early spring I had high hopes, however I was hit with a hefty price tag of 9.49$ after tax. I got a single scoop passion fruit gelato with a sugar cone. I was suprised with the price as there were no signs indicating this price. The gelato was quite bitter, tasted old as it was crystallized, & the potion size was the size of a toddler fist. For price, quantity & quality I would not recommend.
Le service est exécrable. La dernière fois qu'on est allée, il n'y avait personne mais la femme au comptoir nous ignorait pendant un long moment alors on est partie.
& aujourd'hui, l'homme au comptoir était malpoli & non professionnel:
- On lui parle, il fait comme si il n'entend rien & nous ignore pour parler à des ouvriers qui font des travaux à côté de la nourriture (top!)
- On répète encore & encore car on veut savoir les parfums des crèmes glacés, c'est apparement toujours trop difficile d'afficher les noms de toutes les saveurs, il répond finalement qu'il sait pas d'un air hautain. Doit la goûter pour nous dire ce que c'est.
- 12$ pour un parfum dans une cup + un cornet, la crème glacée était trop sucrée & a terminé à la poubelle (après juste une cuillère)
Revoyez votre attitude. Vous ne savez même pas mettre de la crème glacée correctement dans une cup & encore moins communiquer avec la clientèle.
Dernière fois que je vais là-bas.
A lovely spot in Little Italy with amazing gelato, coffee, & breakfast options. The gelato is rich, creamy, & full of authentic flavor. The breakfast dishes are beautifully presented, fresh, & absolutely delicious.
The staff are friendly & attentive, & the space is clean, bright, & very inviting. This has become a regular place for our family to enjoy quality food & relaxing moments together. Highly recommended!
