Je me suis présentée pour un petit déjeuner & pour y travailler.
La personne derrière le comptoir était très très occupée à parler avec ses amis ( clients) du dernier match de je ne sais quoi, de manière très bruyante. Finalement, lorsque je m'apprête à payer, on me dit qu'ils ne prennent QUE comptant & voici un ATM.
Cet avis devrait être marqué à la porte du café avertissant les clients, pas en minuscule sur le menu.
Très décevant, je n'y retournerai pas.
Friendly neighborhood place where people can meet & socialize. Stools at the front facing outside are great for people watching. Coffee & biscotti are great also.
Have now started to come more often since last year & really enjoy the experience of great coffee, conversation, & social connections.
I just want to say this cafe was amazing! Staff were so accommodating, kind & made delicious coffee. The ambience was beautiful- highlight of my morning here in mile end.
Staff was nice but it would be nice to know it's cash only, & see the prices before as I was overcharged for a simple coffee…

Nous avons commandé un latte glacé & un café glacé, le latte ne comportait presque pas de café & le café glacé était imbuvable, il goutait le vieux café qui a été laissé sur le comptoir. Pour 5$ & 4$ j'aurais été dans un autre café qui ne m'aurait pas coûté bien plus cher, mais qui aurait eu du café de qualité. Bien déçue de mon expérience. Le croissant était délicieux & frais par contre.

What I liked :- very nice staff. The guy who gave me the coffee was well behaved & in general the staff was very friendly to everyone around. They had two TVs inside so a good place to watch a game with friends.
What I didn't like :-
1. I ordered a coffee for 3.5 & they asked me for CASH! This was super unexpected. They had an ATM machine which charged me 2.75 dollars for withdrawal. The person who served me was kind enough to say that I can enjoy my coffee & then find an ATM nearby & pay later but it was raining heavily & the nearest ATM is also not so near.
2. The tables were exceptionally small. I realized that the cafe was not for working. My 14 inch laptop & a coffee cup fit the whole width!

Very charming & nice owner & staff! We were looking for a place to grab a quick drink & planned to sit outside because we had bagels from St. viateur bagel. However, the owner warmly invited us to stay & was ok if we ate the bagels inside! He even gave us plates 🥹💕
My husband got the decaf latte & it was so nice. Very cute decor & I can see he has long-time customers who love the place. There were portraits of the staffs on the wall by a customer which I thought was so wholesome.
Gros coup de coeur pour ce café de quartier ! Meilleur bagel au saumon fumé que j'ai mangé ! 😅 Produits locaux, belle ambiance festive, café de qualité, beaucoup de choix, staff sympathique ! Une combinaison gagnante !
