I've been going to cafes regularly in Montreal for about a decade & this is in my top 3, if not, the best espresso I've had in the city. The espresso in most coffee shops in our city is way too acidic & fruity, often tastes poorly brewed. The espresso at Diff is roasty, not burnt, tastes fresh & the acidity is very balanced. The baristas are always polite as well & the place is small & cozy. Highly recommend this place

Cute little coffee shop, with excellent coffee. My cortado was the best I've had in montreal. Also, very efficiently run with the nicest baristas & vintage finds. I bought an excellent book & Russian dolls for my toddler!

Stopped in for breakfast & picked up a bag of coffee as well. Perfect little spot on a cute street. Friendly barista. Love the childrens books on the wall.

Matcha latte absolument délicieux. Assez difficile de trouver de bons matcha en ville. Les baristas sont expérimentés

The coffee, the scones, & the croissants are very good. Cozy & clean atmosphere, & the barista (owner?) lady is super pleasant & helpful!
