Easily the best coffee I had during my entire 5 day trip to Montreal. Smooth, perfectly balanced americano & tasty pastry available. Also loved that they had a small section of vintage homeware too.

If you love good coffee, definitely check out diff.

Montreal has no shortage of cafe's. Some good, few are great. Dif is the ladder & exception. I ordered a short machiatto & it was balanced perfectly. Also, I noticed some freshly baked chocolate chip cookies behind the counter which was added to the order; not too sweet, chewy, & the chocolate was slightly bitter which I prefer; no notes. This place gets busy, but it's worth the wait. Staff are wonderful, knowledgeable, & take the time for the non-francophones. I will be back tomorrow for the espresso. Go, NOW!
