specialty coffee, filter & seasonal are all top class, service is quick & friendly, pastries are pretty good too! Consistent quality across the years as well.
Coming from Australia, I'm quite picky when it comes to my coffee, but Diff definitely knows whats up. Coffee & sweets are absolutely banging! I've tried a lot of places around the Old Montreal & this is my fav!
Great work guys:)
Lovely coffee, came 15 min before close so no treats available to try but the coffee was delicious.
I've been going to cafes regularly in Montreal for about a decade & this is in my top 3, if not, the best espresso I've had in the city. The espresso in most coffee shops in our city is way too acidic & fruity, often tastes poorly brewed. The espresso at Diff is roasty, not burnt, tastes fresh & the acidity is very balanced. The baristas are always polite as well & the place is small & cozy. Highly recommend this place
Cute little coffee shop, with excellent coffee. My cortado was the best I've had in montreal. Also, very efficiently run with the nicest baristas & vintage finds. I bought an excellent book & Russian dolls for my toddler!
Great coffee shop with top notch espresso, lovely atmosphere, & beautiful bathroom.
I am visiting from NYC & have been trying to find a really well made cup of coffee. After trying about 3-4 others, coming to diff. was a breath of fresh air. Best coffee I've had on this trip.
Really nice spot near Square Victoria for coffee/pastries. Bright/clean atmosphere, beautiful Marzocco machine, friendly service & good coffee. Closes early & on weekends which is a bit of a bummer but it's mainly oriented to the office workers in the area. Got a cold brew which was great.
Très bonne café !!! Un cortado bien faite ! So happy to have discovered this Great Coffee shop !
Not like at all not greeted in french & there is bad smell in the coffee like sewage.
It's one of the best coffee places downtown Montreal. Prices are fair but quality is top notch. I highly recommend!
A relaxed & calm spot downtown where the coffee is excellent (the best in the area) & the service is super friendly. The croissants are delicious & the take out bottles of natural wine are premium! Coffee beans by BOWS coffee roasters are sold here highly recommended.
Literally the best cup of coffee I've had in MTL. Leaves you wanting more!!
Stopped in for breakfast & picked up a bag of coffee as well. Perfect little spot on a cute street. Friendly barista. Love the childrens books on the wall.
