An amazing little cafe only open on Fridays. Saturdays, & Sundays.
Fantastic friendly service matched with outstanding soup, snacks, both sweet & savory, as well as coffee, tea, & hot chocolate with either soy, oat, or almond milk.
While it's a miracle that it's a vegan cafe, it's top notch for any type of cafe.
If you can get here, you will be amply rewarded!
2nd visit update:
We got all different things this time & they are at least as excellent. I am quite confident that this is the best bakery. I've been to outside of Italy & even better than most there. There must be magicians & wizards in the kitchen, there's no other explanation.
Given the superior quality & taste of the products, the weekly menu changes, the warm & wonderful service, & that it's all vegan, I declare Cafe Dei Campi the best bakery in the world!
The chocolate ravioli was incredible. Such a treat to have genuinely well crafted vegan pastries!
So far the best bakery in Montreal. I love how everything is 100% vegan! The chocolate croissant was perfectly flaky with high quality chocolate inside, mini pizzas were delicious & my favorite was the chocolate ravioli cookies. This place is busy, popular, & cozy. We were able to get a seat by the window but there isn't much seating. I can't wait to go again the next time I'm in Montreal.
You know the food is going to slap when you see a queue like that for a vegan place. & it did. I got the chocolate cornetto, pizzette, coffee, nutella ravioli, & a calzone & everything was delicious at a very fair price.
Excellent as always. Every time I come here for hot chocolate or baked goods or their delicious pizzettes, they nail it. Flavor & care has gone into every treat they make. Highly recommend. For people who have lived in Montreal all their lives or for visiting from out of town, this place is a gem. Definitely must visit. Worth the trip if you're far.
