Both baristas were super nice & made great coffee / hot chocolate & I also liked the music they chose to play.
Coffee shop is well located, small but cozy (not a lot of seating areas). Hot chocolate would be better with real melted chocolate instead of powdered but it was still quite tasty. The cappuccino was also excellent. The croissant was quite flaky & was delicious.
If you're in the area, definitely give this little coffee shop a try ☺?

Absolute favorite place I got coffee during our trip to Montreal (old port) & the food + cookies were even more delectable! I'm craving to comeback just to have another vanilla iced latte 🤤 so delicious!
Hands down, my absolute favorite coffee spot in the Old Port! I seriously love everything there, the coffee grounds is amazing to bring home , the sandwiches are so good, & their cappuccinos are next level. Not to mention everyone who works there is so kind! Always such a great vibe when you walk in. Couldn't recommend it more! :)
Barista there was so sweet! Had to be in the area for a short time & this was the perfect stop on the way! Not to mention a large variety of gluten free baked options- carrot cake being the winner!
I came in as they're closing & they still received me & gave me a cappuccino on the house. Frank is the best this place is awesome. Coming back here for sure.

We tried the cappuccino, & it was excellent. The café is located in the Old Port of Montreal, which makes the visit even nicer. I'm planning to try the Americano next time. The service was friendly, & the staff seemed genuinely honest & welcoming.
Le propriétaire est très sympathique & s'est assuré que mon café me plaisait. Il n'y a aucun doute que le service à la clientèle est important pour lui. Mon café était succulent & ma viennoiserie aux pommes était tellement bonne que je voulais en acheter une 2e, mais il n'y en avait plus. Le café est petit mais décoré avec soin & goût.

If you are gluten free like myself, then you NEED to check out this cafe! So good!! I regret I didn't pick up every GF item!! I tried the date square & the coconut square. I'm so impressed!! Haven't had a good tasting gluten free dessert in years! Thank you! (Now I'm trying to re-create the coconut bar!)
Stopped here for a quick lunch with a colleague. Great taste, fast service. I had a quiche which was less than 3'' & cost $7!!! Very tasty but seriously overpriced!
Delicious gluten free scones & cookies . Stopped in for some coffee & saw they offered a variety of cookies , croissants & scones . The gluten free chocolate & banana flavored scones were delicious .
Iced coffee was well prepared & service was very fast .
Definitely a coffee shop to visit if you are looking for a good GF product with your coffee

We started our morning walk in Old Town with a stop here. Frank, the owner, was very friendly. & I have to say, it was the best coffee I had during my entire trip in Montreal. I didn't get a treat, but the cookies look amazing!
Great place in old Montreal, excellent coffee & sweets, Frank is very kind & friendly as is the staff, would recommend if you are in old Montreal near many shops & sights.
I mistakenly ordered an americano rather than a latte & the barista was quite nasty about exchanging it. I just ordered another. Too bad. This would never have happened at their Monkland venue.
I have heard great things about Mercanti for years so decided to try it as I was in the area. What looks like a tiny café from the outside is actually quite spacious inside with great ambiance. The sandwiches, desserts, & of course coffee are just about the highest quality you can find. Great experience, will be back.
