This place feels like my own little secret café-like I discovered it myself. But truth is, they've been around for 13 years.
Came in to meet a friend. First time here. The vibes? Chill, unpretentious, & welcoming. Feels like a cozy living room or your best friend's kitchen.
You're greeted by the rich aroma of fresh-ground coffee, the soft murmur of conversation, & a counter full of homemade cookies & pastries-some familiar, all tempting.
Prices are fair for a personalized experience. $3 for an Earl Grey tea with steamed milk, served in a glass if you're staying in. $4 for a smooth Americano.
Behind the espresso machine, a cool-looking gent with salt-&-pepper hair. At the counter, a friendly woman who welcomed me when she heard it was my first visit.
The decor? Purposefully unfinished-or maybe just always evolving. My wife asked if it was under construction. I said, Yes, like our busy lives-always in progress.
Long story short, it's now on my go-to list-for coffee, good company, or just sitting alone, writing Google reviews.

Service was quite fast
Ordered a cappuccino & donut. Tastes all good, would have preferred coffee & food to be hotter but the ambiance was quite cute & cozy for a neighborhood coffee place. No wifi so ideal if you want to be somewhere to disconnect. All in all will return

I came across an advertisement on Instagram for this café, & I arranged a day for my family to visit in order to enjoy a cappuccino & croissant, as I have a strong affinity for these items. It was Saturday noon. I ordered two cappuccinos plus a croissant, brownie & 2 slice of cake. The guy who received the order could hardly hear. We took care of ourselves, despite having paid for the services. The cappuccino was predominantly composed of milk, with little discernible flavor of coffee.(Almost latte) The cake lacked freshness, & the croissant had a tangerine flavor that did not appeal to my taste. It was not something I anticipated.

Café de' Mercanti is a true gem! The cozy ambiance, authentic Italian vibes, & perfect lattes make it a must-visit spot. Their cappuccinos & ricotta pistachio donuts are simply unforgettable. I have tried this café two times, I ordered a cappuccino & a latte but there was no difference between them & I ordered the medium sized but the weight & amount of drink in the cup was honestly low, which is not good!

Awesome staff, atmosphere & coffee. I'm still on the fence which barista makes the best double lattes. The lattes glasses are great too!

I recently discovered this place as it is near my kid's school, & I'm a big fan. Love the employees, love the ambiance. It's always packed for a reason!
