Everything should make this a six out of five star review. This place should be the best. However, I'm lying awake here past midnight & I feel so certain that the only reason I'm not asleep right now is that my really fantastic-amazing coffee this afternoon at this place was NOT Infact the decaf that I ordered. As someone who isn't supposed to have caffeine for medical reasons this is extra disappointing.

This is like visiting a frat house. The staff are boisterous & loud joking with one another & don't pay attention to the paying customer. Very off-putting.

Very good coffee, nice atmosphere, fast service. The only issue is that they don't offer wifi, which is very unfortunate since they have a very nice space for work (& it was half empty all the time).

Mercanti is a neighborhood coffee shop. It used to be great each & every time I went. Coffee was great, pleasant people behind the counter, great croissant. The last few times, over the past two month or so, the coffee was a hit or miss. The people behind the counter not as friendly , the croissant still great. Last time I went ,few days ago, coffee was not good, maybe even bad, certainly not even close to what it used to be. I'm going to give this place more chance but if they remain on the path they are at right now, I'm out.
